“We loved it! I’ll start with the basics. Super clean room and property. Room (#5) was a good size and bed was comfortable. Decorated so nicely. Bathroom was modern and lovely. Great bedding and towels. Free parking. What I didn’t expect was the room was filled with lovely amenities!. From the luxurious Canadian soaps and shampoos, to the fridge filled with sparkling water and cream, to the abundance of coffee pods (tea also), decent coffee cups and beautiful glasses. My husband kept going on……

“We loved the location on the ocean!! Cabins were excellent and very clean and very inviting. We wish we would have bought food and cooked our meal on the BBQ and enjoyed the setting longer”

“Clean but extremely outdated. Okay for a quick overnight stay but nothing to be excited about.”

“I really liked the location and setting. It's perfect for someone looking to be fully immersed in nature. It's quiet, calm, and natural in every way. Staff were friendly and helpful. The remote beach behind the resort grounds is not to be missed - gorgeous! Saw a bald eagle perched on driftwood fairly early in the morning. I thought my mattress was a bit too thin and the springs quite noticeable. I was able to sleep okay, but it kept coming to my attention that it might be time to replace. I……

“Nice property in a very secluded and private area. No reliable wifi or cell signal on most of the property. Excellent restaurant with great food.”

“I've always enjoyed the North hotel. Only disappointment this time is that I travelled with my puppy and there are only double beds in pet friendly rooms which made sleeping poor. Otherwise, cleanliness was perfect.”

“The only issue was keeping the water temperature constant in the shower. Otherwise excellent room for the price point.”

“The property was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms were clean but poorly furnished. No counter space in room or bathroom. No one touched our room for our complete 3 day stay. The restaurant opened on the last day we were there, June 20 2026 The website said opened the middle of the month. Which was disappointing as we would have liked to support it. I would still recommend this property as it is beautiful and the staff is great. I would prefer a little better communication.”

“The staff at breakfast were very friendly but the room was very musty/moldy/smoky smelling. One of the two beds wasn't very clean. There were three chairs piled in the corner of the room for some reason. The beds were very soft. Washroom floor wasn't very clean. There was no where to hang your towels. Cheaper than most places in the area but significantly less nice, maybe for $100 less than some of the other places you could over look the state of the rooms but for $30 to $50 less just spring……
