Kia Ora Wai Han, Thanks for your review! You stayed in our One - bedroom Units which has the queen in either the lounge or a separate bedroom which is perfect for families. However, for four friends it can be a bit tight with the bed sharing! Maybe a pillow wall down the middle would do the trick or, one of our bigger Two bedroom Units! It can get hot here in the summer but, with our many fans in each room that tends to be okay & keeps the flies out! However, if your looking for air conditioning maybe a hotel would be a bit better. We have other ways in cooling down (or warming up) as you found out on arrival! Our pools are great for a relaxing time or cooling down in the beautiful sun - I'm glad you enjoyed the use of both. Kia Ora! Thanks for your response! Unfortunately coming into summer with our awesome location comes Trout Flies. These are little insects which don't bite but if you leave your window open with lights on generally find your room quite inviting! We like to let guests know about this when they arrive before it's too late. The positives with being so close to the lake is the awesome sunsets, close walking distances to restaurants and geothermal activity. Hi Tony, Thanks for taking the time to review us. We really appreciate your comments. Our staff here work very hard to provide an unmatched service in a very friendly manner. It sounds like we succeeded on this occasion. I do wonder if there was nothing that we needed to improve, why just the 4 stars instead of the 5? As for our location, it is fantastic for everyone like you say, and especially families. With the lake front on 250m away and a huge playground on the lakefront we really are in the perfect position for families, not to mention the heated pool which is always a winner.
