“Really fantastic stay at The Knaresborough Inn. Leave your car parked up for the time you stay there if only staying a couple of days — everything in town is walkable, and there are brilliant public transport options to get you through to Harrogate. Very comfortable room, and a really great on-site pub & restaurant. Brekkie in the morning was really good; food options in the evening also plentiful, although more choice for vegetarians would be welcomed. Dog friendly!! — although, on this, it was……

“We had a great one night stay. The room was clean, very modern and with high quality finish. Our daughter loved the high sleeper bed which was very safe. Convenient location for Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey. Plenty of parking onsite. We had a great dinner in the pub and our breakfast was delicious too. Friendly staff, would definitely stay again. ”

“Having read several less than complimentary reviews, I have to say this was a first class experience. Many rooms and most of interior are refurbished. Breakfast excellent. Great value for money and will definitely return.”

“Had a really good couple of days at the Inn. It was just my wife and I plus our little dog, which was also made to feel welcome with a sausage for breakfast. That said, we were charged an additional £12.50 per night for taking him with us. The restaurant was a little pricey also but the food was very good so no complaints. Overall a really good couple of days with some great walks available from the site.”
