「This truly unique hotel has had a major makeover since we last visited 20 years ago. The rooms are looking great, and the staff are very pleasant, although service can be a bit hit-and-miss at times.」

「Didn't like repeated auto emails asking for self check in and credit card details for incidentals. Didn't like silly health and safety window locks that didn't allow airflow into room. Fans are not at all adequate on hot days. I wonder where health and safety stands if one faints due to the heat on hot days or the risk or access if there is a fire. I did like that reception staff was very helpful to find me another room on the cooler side of the building. TVs need upgrading to Smart TVs. 」

「Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment.
