Ski Trip

Felt like home!

We loved the cabin. Relaxing and cozy. Beds and bathrooms clean that’s a plus. 1 mile walk to downtown. Definitely will come back and recommend. Thank you for everything.

Great spot a few blocks from downtown.

What a great spot. Still rustic and in the pines, but a shorter walk from downtown. It's not quite as serene as some isolated places in Ruidoso but still pretty quiet. Playground and park across the street. The listing was as advertised. Two large beds, so good it's good for two couples or parents and maybe 1-2 kids if they don't mind sharing a bed. Good kitchen and table and living spaces and bathrooms on each bedroom.

Perfect Location

We had no issues! Everything was smooth and we enjoyed our Christmas vacation! Will definitely return to this property. We have done a Ruidoso trip for the last 11 years and this was the first time staying here, definitely staying again here!

Cabin ok, but!

The cabin itself was great. The pics on the website lead you to believe the cabin is more secluded than it is. The condos are close together and the street is close and busy. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

Overall this was a nice stay. It was clean, had stocked kitchen and was within walking distance to downtown shops. There was plenty of room for us and our kids. Mule deer came very close to the porch which was fun to see. The only issue we had was that the closet in the second bedroom was locked for owner use and the vent on the roof was very squeaky. Overall it was a good value for the price.

Not quite what we expected

The pictures which look rural left out the complex behind it only 2 blocks from the main road. Extremely trafficked area. It looks in the pictures like there are very few other structures but quite the opposite. When we arrived the condo was hot and smelled musky and housekeeping couldn’t come so my wife cleaned it as best possible. We could never keep it under 77 degrees in the house. They did make concessions so we feel a bit better. We do appreciate the hospitality.

Proximity is excellent

Really loved the proximity to the town and shops. The company was very responsive when we needed help with the fireplace which was remote and lovely. The house had a little hodgepodge of everything we needed - including toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, plenty towels, toiletries all our kitchen needs. Had no issues with internet and loved all the small tvs in every space had Netflix and Disney- a win. My only complaint is the sheets in one of the rooms looked slept in or unchanged (you don’t have to take the sheets off upon exit so maybe that was a mistake by the cleaning ppl), some of the dishes weren’t fully clean (but the previous person has to put them away so maybe that was the problem) and the patio upstairs had a ladder and screens laying out like they weren’t put away and no seating on the top. The hot water gets hot fast, but you have about 20 min to get a family of four showers in, so space them out throughout the day if you like longer showers. It was really a hodgepodge of fun - appreciated the property management companies recommendations on food too. There is a Rec center and a park across the way too. Again - location is the best and parking was great too!

Our stay in Ruidoso

Property was comfortable. Beds not so much...too soft and bouncy...had to sleep separate from my husband. Bathrooms could've been cleaner..shower curtains were gross! On a positive note the location was perfect..close to downtown and there was a great walking park for our pup.

Family ski trip

Great location. We used the park across the street a lot. But overall it Could’ve been cleaner. We found clothes and items that were left behind from previous visits. I wish the shower curtains were plastic so they can be changed out often. They were a nasty cloth that was brown at the bottom due to bacteria. Also, I really did not like all the warning signs in my face. Everywhere I turned I felt like I was getting in trouble. They were signs like “take out all the trash or you’ll be fine” or a sign that said “don’t open this door or you’ll be charged extra fees”. Also the pull out couch bed had a white fitted sheet with pee stains. That wasn’t pleasant. Not a super bad place. But I think I’d stay somewhere else next time.
