Creek side roomy home!

When we arrived we was early Joe was very quick to answer and let us go ahead and go in.. The house was very roomy, we liked the fireplace and hot tub!The big game Station was a big hit with the kids and as well for the adults! All in all it was a great time. Joe was very quick to answer with any concerns we had.😁

Comfortable Cabin

This cabin was comfortable, with an open floor plan that makes it feel spacious. The front doesn’t have much curb appeal, but the inside and the back deck overlooking the river are nice. We booked this cabin specifically because it has a hot tub, but it wouldn’t heat up. We tracked down the spa guy (the contact number provided on the instruction sheet wasn’t current), but he couldn’t fix the tub during our stay, so we left disappointed.

Nice location. Broken Hot Tub

Only issue we had was the hot tub not working. We specifically rented a property with a hot tub. Owner tried to get it fixed but it couldn’t be repaired.

Use Caution

Normally I don’t post about our stays. I read the reviews and take each review with a grain of salt. During this stay I needed to let the readers know some things that caught us totally off guard when we arrived. First is the road that leads you to the property is in terrible shape. Huge pot holes everywhere. Also, don’t expect to be able to walk to the main street for shopping, it is a long haul up a steep grade. Second was the lack of curtains in the house. If you don’t mind old beat-up window shades, then no problem. In the back room I could see the neighbors on their porch looking in. No curtains in the master bathroom (good size peep hole in it) or master bedroom. Third, bring your own pots and pans, the ones in the kitchen cupboard were rusted and falling apart. Finally, when I took off the pillow covers the pillow had blood stains on it. Out of all the properties we have rented, this one is the least preferred. It just needs a complete remodeling and a good cleaning up and replacement of cooking pans. Not a good Birthday present for the wife, but we enjoyed our stay as best we could. Of note, we left a day earlier than plan, just not our cup of tea.

Nice location but will not be staying here again.

The house was nice and big and everything I needed was provided. The only problem was there were ants everywhere in kitchen. The second night we put sweets away in living room on table away from kitchen ants where there in the morning to. I spoke to Doris about it Sunday morning prior to check out she seemed not to really care didn’t even apologize didn’t offer any kind of discount for our troubles even though we threw away 50 worth of goodies. Won’t be staying here ever again!!!

COMFORT + LOCATION! A WINNING COMBINATION

Location was perfect. About 2 blocks from town. Grocery about one block away. The hot tub was working perfectly and my son and his wife and kids really enjoyed it. My son figured out how to make the spa lights change colors and they looked great at night. The beds were comfortable, all the appliances worked in the kitchen. I’ve stayed in some places where some appliances weren’t working. There does need to be a light over the sink and I could see that there had been one there before. Please put it back. These last few comments might increase your revisitation rate from previous guests. I would replace all the blinds in the house with new ones and ones that are the correct size. They can be the PVC kind like what is there to save on expenses, but they really need to be fresh, new, and the correct size. Sorry, I’m OCD. I would also put handrails on the front steps to aid your physically challenged guests. My husband is disabled and we had a hard time with him getting up those steps, so just saying. The decks were great, the wildlife was superb, and we do intend to rent from you again. The pictures are representative of what the cabin looks like. It was great but could be a powerhouse listing with a few inexpensive changes.

Perfect place for family trip

Absolutely loved this place! As soon as you walk in you get that "cozy welcoming" feeling. We enjoyed it so much! It was lovely waking up to seeing Elk in the backyard by the creek, or just enjoying the evening at home grilling and relaxing in the hot tub. We stayed Easter weekend and the kiddos loved it! The weather was perfect, warm in the day and fresh in the evenings. There were plenty of beds for everyone, plenty of space for everyone as well. Absolutely no complaints from us. Will definitely come back again and I highly recommend this place.

Disappointing

Liked the fact cabin was so close to everything. But the whole reason we chose it was because of the big backyard and hot tub. Backyard was small in actuality and the hot tub was broken. If we wouldve known we wouldve gotten a different cabin but we weren't informed of this. Also we left cups on counter and when we came back there were ants all over. My husband found a sewing needle on the carpet where my son was running around barefoot and also a white pill tablet. Needless to say we will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The pictures and amenities were misleading and huge letdown. Will not be working with evolve company again.

Great weekend getaway. Will book again!

Nicely fit our large family. Hot tub was great! Nice and clean. We enjoyed the river being so close and the wildlife did not disappoint! We did try to open one of the blinds in the back room and it came off. Hoping we aren't charged for this as it was not due to misuse.
