We had a wonderful time. All our family had their own bungalow or cabin and after a full day it was nice to go and bath and rest a little on their own. The pool house was nice. The grandkids were in it nonstop. Hot tubs were great! Walks were very peaceful and quiet. Everything was very clean.

Ruidoso charmer

We had the absolute best trip ever!! While we did not see actual snow, the weather was ideal for some afternoon shopping downtown riudoso, and even for a day spent at Winterpark!!! The accommodations were excellent for our large group, and really enjoyed the pool room for sharing meals and making memories!! Highly recommend!! We even chatted with the owners of the property, very kind gentleman!!

Family Gathering

We really enjoyed staying at your cabins. The view is fantastic. Having a heated pool was also great. Check in was a breeze. Having to haul the trash away was a bit complicated. I would also recommend cleaning under the beds. One cabin was a bit chilly in the living room since there was an air leak by the fireplace.

Great for Large Groups

The set-up is perfect for large groups such as a church group or family reunion. Everything overall was great. Guests should be aware that the pool room can be quite warm because of the humidity from the pool so we chose to cook our group meals in one of the cabins instead of that kitchen. My only complaint is the 2 bedroom cabin had a very musty smoke-like smell that was quite off-putting. The group was very satisfied with this property!

Family reunion

We hosted a reunion for our five children and their families (19 total) and this was a perfect place to hold it. The kids loved the indoor pool and the adults loved hanging out in the hot tubs when the kids went to bed. The pool house inside and outside was great for hanging out, playing games, and as a central location for meals. We all had a great time!

Wonderful Family Reunion spot

This was a great place to have families come and enjoy each other but also have a private place to retire. The water pressure is connected to each other so plan your showers accordingly. Thank you so much for a great start!!!

Great Youth Retreat Spot

We brought our youth group from church to the retreat. It was the perfect size with all the amenities. The kids loved the pools and the hot tubs. I was able to cook for 26 in the pool house kitchen with a little overflow in the oven of the two bedroom cabin. Overall we had a great time.

It will accommodate only maybe 16 "comfortably". The pull outs are not comfortable AT ALL. If you plan on cooking during the stay bring your own pots and pans. The trash situation is odd.

Perfect Family Reunion Retreat

Our whole family loved our week at Retreat, Ruidoso! The large pool was the highlight for the whole family. We truly enjoyed the pool house with the community kitchen, covered patio with places to eat inside and out! Everything was pretty much perfect! We loved how we were able to ride our 4 wheelers to trails and roads that are ATV friendly. We loved seeing the deer in the mornings and in the evenings. We loved how we were able to scavenge the other cabins and bungalows to find all of the cooking implements that we needed for our big family meals because that's where we ate all of our family meals .(We're sorry if some of them ended up at the pool house, but it was hard to remember which cabin we got them from). Everything was reasonably clean and fresh. Our surroundings were beautiful and we were in a very unique and pleasant area. We have a few suggestions: Please provide more toilet paper & garbage bags for large families who are staying more than just a few days. Also, it would have been convenient to have a small bar of soap in the shower along with the one on the sink. And lastly, it would be a really good idea to have a pest control company come more often to spray for bugs (spiders). BUT, in spite of the few suggestions above, we would definitely come and spend time at the wonderful Ruidoso Retreat again! We will forever have many happy memories of our stay!
