Private Catch & Release Lake - Boat Rental Included! Close To Lake Cumberland!

  • 'Peaceful Valley Lake & Cabin'
Our "Creek Side Cabin" is situated within feet of both our beautiful well stocked (catch and release) lake and the spring fed creek that flows through the property.
The Creek Side cabin is a one bedroom with beautiful vaulted ceilings. It is easy step free access. After a day of fishing, strolling around the lake, or reading a great book, you will find the kitchen is well suited to prepare food from snacks to full family dinners. Or you might choose to grill on the provided gas grill. Then enjoy coffee or desert relaxing on either porch, take in the lake view or the relaxing countryside creek view.
Included with the cabin there is a two-person boat. You can enjoy the great fishing in our catch and release lake or just float along and enjoy the beautiful sights of nature! As evening comes build a fire in the stone fire pit. Enjoy the stars, some mores, roasting marshmallows, or snuggling seem to be popular!
Peaceful Valley is located out in the country, providing a great place to unwind, relax and recharge. Yet we are conveniently located minutes from Russell Springs, Jamestown, and the beautiful Lake Cumberland! Please visit and enjoy what some of the our guests call "a little piece of Heaven" Peaceful Valley. Please know there is no WIFI or internet.

If you are looking to get a little R&R, this is the spot. Timmy and Rose are amazing hosts. We even scored some fresh cucumbers out of their garden! The lake is beautiful and the fishing is great. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We can’t say enough good things about this place. Do be prepared for lots of piece and quiet, as there is very little cell reception and no WiFi. We enjoyed that part though Highly, highly, highly recommend!

What a nice escape! For my husband's birthday I gave him (us) a few days at the Creekside Cabin in Peaceful Valley. The trip was a surprise gift, but also a surprise escape for both of us. Total relaxation, peace, quiet, natural beauty. The cabin and lake were so nice. The hosts (Timmy and Rose) were the best and made us feel right at home. Can't wait for a return trip!

Wonderful place, wonderful people. Just plain wonderful.

I live in Michigan and went down to Kentucky to go golfing. When I booked the cottage, and drove down only to realize they received their 3rd snow of the season. That was a surprise. Overall it was a fantastic weekend getaway. Highly recommend to all..

A Little Piece of Heaven

If you are looking for a getaway to relax and renew, you have found your destination at Peaceful Valley Lake & Cabins. Each cabin is located around a beautiful lake that is stocked with fish for catch and release fishing. Also on the property, it is quiet enough to hear water rippling down the creek, ducks quacking, and birds singing. The owners, Tim and Rose, made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this property, and we hope to return in 2022!

Nice space

The cabin was clean and welcoming when we got there with a fire, music and a treat on the table. Timmy stopped by too and we had a nice chat. It's clear they get repeat customers and I can understand why. The surrounding property was even nicer than the pictures. You can tell they really take care of their cabins and the land surrounding them. If you're a couple looking for a nice time away from busy life - fishing or not - you can't go wrong here.
