In under an hour’s drive in one direction you have everything visitors have come to expect from the adventure capital of Europe. Ride on the train from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, go surfing, abseiling, climbing or enjoy one of hundreds of suggested walks in this area of stunning beauty. The Snowdonia National Park can be reached within a 40-minute drive. In under an hour in the opposite direction will take you to the North Wales coast and its spectacular beaches. For those wishing to stay closer, you will find the historic market towns of Ruthin and Denbigh, Bala, Corwen and the world-famous Llangollen railway and canal within 15 miles, boasting shops, cafés and local art and craft shops.
