Great for a weekend in Rye

The Blue loft, is just as the listing describes, and has a lovely view of Rye from the top of the hill where it’s situated. A pleasant 25 minute walk from Rye, the loft has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away, is clean and thoughtfully decorated, with some lovely home touches and welcoming gifts from the friendly hosts.

The Blue Loft

This is a lovely compact property. The cleanest we’ve ever stayed in! Well equipped and cosy. Close to Rye and in a great setting. Recommended for a short break.

My wife, our 16 month old daughter and I had a wonderful 4 night stay in the Blue Loft cottage. The property is full of character and the back garden was great for our little one to run around in. It is in an amazing location and Jo (the owner) was really helpful by providing extra things for our daughter and some delicious banana bread for our arrival :) I would definitely recommend staying there

This was a perfect cottage for a quiet break away from the stress of daily life. The views from the cottage are wonderful and the accommodation was homely. The owners are very friendly and the scones upon arrival were delicious. We even got some fresh eggs from the hens during our stay! The cottage is well equipped and there was everything you needed in the kitchen too. We can't wait to return!

The outside seating area is comfortable with peaceful country views. Comfy beds and a good shower. Everything you need for a lovely holiday. Plenty of places to visit and good food at a nearby pub.

A lovely cottage, well-equipped, clean and handy for Rye and East Sussex.

A lovely cottage, well-equipped, clean and handy for Rye and East Sussex. The owners were very helpful and friendly and provided a very nice and handy welcome pack. Books and games in the cottage are handy for children and adults in case of inclement weather, but there was also a full set of local Ordnance Survey Explorer maps which were very useful for planning walks and other trips. It was a very peaceful holiday, the only noise being the birdsong and the sound of the male pheasant tapping on the French windows. I highly recommend the Blue Loft for a holiday in East Sussex.
