Good hotel at an affordable price for a short stay

The staff was very friendly, the beakfast was good and the room was nice and clean but the whole place need a big refurbishmend. And the walls and ceiling are very thin so you can hear what happen in the rooms around. The persons in the room next to ours were talking and laughing until at least 2:30am and, even if they were not noisy, we could hear them as if we were sharing the room.

Interesting stay.

It’s true what they say “a picture can say a thousand words” However in this case it wasn’t anywhere near the expectation I had built up in my head from them. First night, no chef so had a very limited menu. (Fish or schnitzel) no problem apart from my friends fish was still frozen. From what I could gather the people in the room above me were wrestling but it seemed the women was wrestling with multiple people through the night. The bed was actually comfortable but the room cleanliness wasn’t great. Will not be returning.

The entire hotel is in need of renovation. The heat did not work in the room. The toilet would not flush unless it done 3 or 4 times. There were dark areas going up the outside steps with lights being out. For the amount they are charging for this hotel it is definitely not worth it.

The hotel agreed to a late check in (in writing) but when we arrived had given our rooms away, leaving us stranded at 3:30am As the hotel booking and the written guarantee were all done through hotels.com, we asked them to help us book a new hotel. They told us that they couldn’t get a hotel at that time and left us to sort it out ourselves, which took five hours of going door to door till we finally found a hotel that took pity on us. All this taking place in the middle of a very bad storm. Shocking behaviour by the hotel but more importantly hotels.com I have had to tone down this review as hotels.com refused to publish the original.

Nice but not for long stays

Check in was fast. Room clean and tidy but very dated. Stayed during hottest days staff froze my bottled water each day which was a great help. Hot breakfast same each day but plenty of choose otherwise. As in previous reviews think a transit type hotel. Lots of commercial travelers and workmen. Security gate on carpark and on window so able to leave open. Shutter also great for security and keeping room cool.

Restaurant closed

The room was okay, but we book at that hotel because there was a restaurant. When we arrived the restaurant was closed and we tried to get some food from several restaurant, also with help from the very helpful man in the reception. After spending more than 1,5 hour to get some food, we gave up and went to bed without food. If we have been informed before arriving we would have been able to eat before arriving. The man at the reception was very helpful

Het hotel deed meer aan als een typische motel uit Amerika. Het gebouw is verouderd, de parkeerplaats is alleen een stuk asfalt met hier en daar een lantaarnpaal en alleen maar auto's met buitenlandse kentekens. De hotelkamers zijn verouderd, met rolluiken voor de ramen wat het onveilige gevoel versterkt. De bedden staan op wieltjes, als je iets te hard gaat zitten rolt je bed weg. De medewerkers zijn ook buitenlands, er wordt voornamelijk in het Engels gecommuniceerd. Het ontbijt was verder prima, voldoende keus, gevarieerd en lekker. Al met een een verouderd hotel wat grotendeels wordt gebruikt door (buitenlandse) arbeiders die in de kost zitten en wat geen enkele sfeer heeft.

Zimmer ungemütlich, Fenster öffnen oder Gardine zur Seite ziehen war nicht ratsam, da direkt vor dem Fenster alle Gäste der anschliesenden Zimmer vorbeiliefen. Badezimmer ausreichend groß. E-BIKES konnten in einem Nebenraum/Konferenzzimmer über Nacht abgestellt werden. Sehr freundliche und agile Dame an der Rezeption. Berbesseungsfähig: Das Restaurant /Bistro konnte außer Pizza Margarita und Salami nix anbieten. Die beiden Salami-Pizzen (guter Teig) waren dann aber sehr üppig belegt und schmeckten wider Erwarten sehr gut.

Verwaarloosd hotel, mijn douche was kapot, alles is gewoon zwaar verouderd en niet meer netjes. Vlekken op de muur, kapotte tegels in de badkamer, krassen op de grond...niet oke. Bed was wel prima, anders was het drama compleet geweest.
