Everything was amazing except for the bed which was horrible. Food and service was excellent but the bed kept me from getting a good sleep. Loved the decor!!

A stunning view of the Douro valley. We had an excellent dinner. One needs to make reservations beforehand to eat there. There is nowhere else in the area to dine. We were not given a dinner option however, the roast beef dinner was excellent as well as the dessert. The car ride up is a bit sketchy because it’s a VERY narrow to lane road winding up a Mt !! However the view makes the trip most worthwhile. Bedroom was nicely decorated and comfy.

We stayed 3 nights, wanting to know more about the Alto Douro Valley region. The guesthouse is well situated and well maintained. All rooms face the river. A simple "buffet" is included. If you don't want to go back to the other places for dinner, you can't order it in advance from the hotel, they will cook you a delicious 3 course dinner with 3 wines(!!) for a grand sum of €35. Worth it!

Splendida Quinta con affaccio sul Douro e le sue vigne. Camera grandissima e bagno pulito e con ogni accessorio. Bellissima la piscina. La cena è la colazione sono curate e ottime

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans l’hébergement et ce fut superbe. En premier la vue et le cadre !! Vraiment incroyable, et puis l’accueil de Bijai est parfait . Même avec un anglais moyen nous avons pu bien discutez avec lui et les autres clients de l’hôtel lors des dîners du soir.

Estancia muy tranquila y personal muy atento. Muy pendientes de las necesidades de los clientes. La piscina tiene un color algo verde pero el agua está genial! Hemos pasado un buen rato en la piscina disfrutando del atardecer y del precioso paisaje. La cena estaba riquísima! Volveré seguro!

Fantastisk placering men...

Fantastisk placering på skråning ned mod floden med et scenarisk kig op og ned ad floden. Meget autentisk bygning med 8 pæne og meget tene værelser. Værre var det med værten, der var hyret ind i sommersæsonen. Han havde ingen kompetencer i at drive stedet. Han serverede the-vand med kaffegrums og smør ,der var smeltet til olie uden at han syntes, at det var et problem. Han anvendte toilettet uden efterfølgende håndvask for derefter at anrette ost mv. uden brug af handsker. Det var lige spændende nok. Deres aftensmad var simpel men der var masser af vin fra værten, der anvendte hele glassets størrelse.

Das Hotel ist klein und fein, wunderschön eingerichtet, ganz viele kleine Details versetzten einen in eine andere Welt. Es liegt sehr abgelegen in mitten einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Francesco hat uns nett begrüßt. Wir wurden jeden Abend speziell bekocht, da wir nicht so viel essen wollten. Preis Leistung passt! Für alle, die ein paar Tage Auszeit wollen ist es hier perfekt!

Trop cher pour service modéré

Nous avions demandé un dîner la veille au soir non considéré, résultat 2x25 min de route pour aller diner. Piscine sale, niveau d’eau trop faible. Le petit déjeuner est moyen. Le pire du pire est le couchage, dur, bruyant. Aucune penderie dans la chambre, sèche cheveux en option. Nous ne comprenons pas comment des des personnes note bien cet établissement. Coté positif, une boisson offerte à notre arrivée

Het is een avontuur om de Quinta te bereiken. Vooral tijdens de laatste 500 meter wil Je geen tegenligger tegenkomen 😃. Vlotte check-in, propere kamer, uitgebreid ontbijt. Avondmaal (3-gangemenu) aan €35pp. Was niet mogelijk op zondag omdat de kokkin afwezig was die dag. In de buurt heb je maar 1 andere optie: Quinta Nova, maar dat is een sterrenrestaurant. Je moet al minimum een halfuur rijden om iets anders te vinden. Zwembad met uitzicht is zalig. Ondanks de stofzuiger in het water, wordt het water snel vuil.
