"We had a lovely stay in Caroline's Shouse :). It was fresh and clean on arrival, with all the amenities for a couple to relax and Enjoy Garfield Bay. Caroline was a pleasure to work with and very responsive and timely in answering any questions we had. A very quick lovely 5 minute walk gets you right down to the park and beach. An added bonus for those that boat, is the driveway would easily accommodate a truck and boat trailer! There is a lovely bench just below the Shouse to enjoy the creek and the quiet beauty of the forest. A great getaway for a romantic couple or the out door enthusiasist."

"We loved staying a this cabin on the water so our family could spend quality time together. We loved that it was pet friendly. My son's dog thought he was in heaven because he could swim every morning. We were able to spend time all together or separate into groups. Stores were close by and easy to access. We enjoyed the several near by hiking trails. If the weather had been better we would have loved using our kayaks on the lake."

"I have to say, this was one of the best properties I have stayed at. Everything that was represented was exactly how I found it. It actually exceeded my expectations. Definitely returning next summer."

"The room i stayed in was pretty good especially for the price. The rooms have been remodeled and are what the photos show. Pro: everything is pretty much new. Liked that there was a kitchen and full fridge with microwave, sink and stove. Bathroom was really nice too (you will need to use the kitchen sink to wash hands as theres no bathroom sink) and bed was pretty comfortable. The area is overall pretty quiet (besides the cars on the road). The area is also very pretty and you can see alot of the Idaho mountains from your window. Cons: its near the highways and the rooms are incredibly thin. I could hear everything my neighbor was doing from moving around, slightly coughing and grabbing things from the fridge. You can hear every car pass on the highway, and alot of semis pass by. There is a noise machine in the room but I decided against using it so that is on me but something to be aware about. The floors are also really creaky so I had to be careful where I walked so I didn't bother my downstairs neighbor. Also my bed frame was incredibly squeaky. It squeaked everytime i moved slightly in the bed. :( Since it is right off the main road it can be a bit of a hassle to get in and out of the hotel parking lot. Overall these are very very minor inconveniences and they cant control the cars on the road. So I dont want to deduct points on that."

"This was the perfect house for our large family gathering. The house was big enough that our group felt comfortable, not crowded. The gym with pickleball, ping pong and basketball provided great indoor activity options. Outside, there was disc golf, swings, sandbox and easy access to the river. For the river, there were kayaks and paddle boards. Truly, this was a home way from home and not one detail was overlooked."
