Love this hotel but rooms at back overlooked
We love this hotel but the windows of the rooms at the back are overlooked by buildings opposite so we have to keep the curtains drawn. Normally we ask for the rooms overlooking the parking but those rooms were taken this time. I suggested to the reception that some nets at the windows would be a good idea.

Worst hotel experience ever! The room was very dusty and dirty as though no one had stayed in the room for years. Spiders and spider webs at several spots in the room, and I’ve never seen such dirty carpet in a hotel room before. We also had to live with a huge fly in the room for the 2 days. The lime scale on the shower head was terribly yucky although the bathroom and toilet itself was the cleanest spot in the entire room. We had 2 people stayed in the room but only 1 bath towel was provided. There was another bath towel placed in the closet but apparently it was used and dirty. On the morning during checkout time, there was no one at the front desk and we waited for 15 min until someone finally came out, there was obviously a lack of staff as the staff was saying she was the only person managing the front desk, kitchen, and the rooms. She asked me how was my stay and I told her my honest opinion, she was then only giving me a shrug and not so sincere apology. I travel a lot and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed.

Dear Joanna, We were quite surprised to read your review. After receiving your feedback, we conducted a thorough investigation by reviewing our security camera footage. We noted that you arrived at the reception at 9:44 AM, and our receptionist was at your side by 9:49 AM. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have faced during this time.We must mention that you stayed with us for two days, and at no point during your stay did you bring any of these issues to our attention. Furthermore, upon checking out, you didn't inform our receptionist of any of these concerns. You simply mentioned your dissatisfaction with the carpeting in our rooms. Consequently, it was difficult for our staff to offer a heartfelt apology as she wasn't responsible for maintenance and couldn't address these concerns directly.It's unfortunate that these issues went unreported, as we are available 24/7 to assist our guests with any problems they may encounter. We believe in resolving issues promptly to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests. It's puzzling to us why these concerns were not raised during your stay, as this would have allowed us to address them more effectively.We genuinely care about the satisfaction of our guests and take all feedback seriously. We hope that, in the future, if any issues arise during your stay, you will communicate them to us immediately so that we can make your experience better.Once again, we apologize for any inconveniences you experienced, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services.Best regards

Très bon séjour dans le cadre d’un déplacement professionnel. Bon accueil, parking volumineux. Facilité d’accès. Les chambres sont belles et agréables. Petit point négatif un peu de poussière sur une barre de douche et des légères remontées d’odeurs de canalisations dans la salle de bains, mais rien de très grave. Je recommande et reviendrait avec plaisir !

Hotel molto buono, ci siamo trovati bene. La posizione è decentrata, il nostro era un viaggio in macchina per cui è stata una soluzione ottima per andare a Caen, ma anche per andare a visitare la normandia più in generale. Only stayed one night - arrived very late and left early the next morning. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival, the room was clean and breakfast buffet was outstanding! Conveniently located near the incredible Caen Memorial Museum and the Caen airport.

The rooms are fairly new though are starting to show some wear and tear. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not worth the money, there's a great bakery around the corner and it's cheaper. Overall, it was what I paid for, nothing more, nothing less.

We had to wait over 5 min before someone came to check us & another guest in, which felt much longer since we had been traveling all day & were tired. The place looked a bit run down, walls needed to be wiped clean in our room, we had to ask for additional pillows, there was no sheet between us & the comforter & there were cobwebs in the room. If you need a place to sleep that is cheap, in more ways than one, this is your place. The location was great.

Very good stay with excellent staff
Overall a great stay….except the breakfast we paid 10 euros each for the worst food on our travels,scrambled egg must of been an hour old you couldn’t put your knife into the sausage,the bacon looked like cut up scraps overall very poor not worth 1euro , shame really the staff, room and hotel were great.
