Island Fun

We had a wonderful long weekend on Fripp . The house was perfect . Great quiet location . Easy bike or golf cart ride to beach . Loved the back porch for all meals and relaxing and wildlife viewing . House was very clean and beds nice and comfortable . We look forward to going back !

The property provided plenty of room for 6 people with all the comforts of home!

We really enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the lagoon! The location on the island is perfect for walking to boardwalk or golf carting to the beach. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need to cook. Only complaint is could use a little better cleaning but nothing major. Over all a very nice experience!

Perfect for a quick trip

We had a wonderful trip and the size and functionality of the house was more than we expected! The space is great. The house just needs a bit of maintenance as some areas are older and harder to clean. Not sure I would rent it again for a full week, but I will definitely consider it for another short stay. Overall, it’s a good value and the host was very easy to work with.

Perfect stay!

Truly enjoyed our time on Fripp. How was clean and well laid out. Renovations are beautiful! There are plenty of books and games to keep your group occupied. The golf cart makes it easy to see the island. We had an issue with the battery running out fast on cart and owner quickly had a loaner there for us. Super easy to work with and very well equipped house. Hope to stay again.... hopefully when it’s a bit warmer so we can use the beautiful back porch. Looking forward to next time!

Relaxing Stay

The layout of the property was great with 2 masters on the main floor and bedrooms for the teens upstairs. The large screened in porch was wonderful. The owners handled a small glitch with promptness and accommodation. We would stay here again.

What a wonderful home!

We had a great week on Fripp and this gem of a house made the experience so much better. The owner was so helpful with everything from check in to giving us information about the island and even Beaufort. The house was clean, fresh, roomy and the screened in porch is to die for. We have found our home away from home on Fripp and we will diffidently be back!

Wonderful open house for family

My four kids, parents, partner and I all enjoyed our stay here. The golf cart was so handy, and the location was quiet and private without seeming far away. We loved the nearby pool but especially loved the gigantic screened porch and open main floor. Every dinner seemed like a party! The two huge owners suites on the main floor were perfect for our large blended family, too. I would recommend this listing without any hesitation!

Great house on Fripp!

Wonderful house; screened in porch was larger than it looks in the pictures. Living room and porch easily handled a dinner for over twenty guests. House was clean, quiet neighborhood, easy to get anywhere on the island. Owner handled an issue with passes immediately, was easy to communicate with. Strongly recommend it.

Excellent Place to Relax!

Fripp Island is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing trip. This property was excellent, and we're so glad we had the opportunity to stay there. Excellent (and fast) communication from the host; roomy, open-space design, and the wonderful screened in back deck made for a great getaway!

Relax and enjoy

Nothing was overrated with this property, very nice and very comfortable. Very clean, felt good when we entered. A few concerns of my doing, owner was quick with an answer. Only thing is: do get what you need before you get there. It will save another trip to the store which is about 30 minutes away.

One of the Best Values at Fripp!

This was our 2nd year staying at 859 Water Oak. It was clean, comfortable, and suited the needs for 8 of us just like last year. Early on in our stay the upstairs began to heat up a bit so I called the owner to let him know. He had someone there to fix it the next morning and all was well again. The owner is very easy to communicate with and prioritizes his guest's experience. The back porch! Will be back!
