“A gem. Nestled in the countryside near Bergerac is this beautiful country house. We were only staying for one night as part of a longer trip, but next time we will surely stay for more nights. Pauline gave us a lovely tour on check-in. The room was spotless and air conditioned. We booked into the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The gardens were peaceful, with incredible views. During dinner we experienced an incredible thunderstorm, which was brilliant to……

“Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, on an industrial estate off the ring road. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The pool was a definate bonus on a hot day and for a pre breakfast swim. So long as you're not looking for rustic, romantic, french charm, then it's a good place for a stop over on a long journey.”

“Le personnel est serviable et sympathique, les prestations convenables. On m'a remboursé un petit-déjeuner réservé par moi en excès. Les informations sur les trajets en bus depuis la gare étaient erronnées. Il y a un Buffalo grill et un Burger King proches. L'entretien à l'extérieur des pièces est imparfait. L'hôtel (plutôt motel) n'est pas abonné à Canal+.”

“Loved the location, good value & very convenient for the old town. Nice pool. Lovely helpful staff. Secure parking”

“The staff were great. But for the room think 'No-Frills'. Not even a kettle.”

“It was very convenient for sightseeing. There is a public parking lot across the street as well as street parking. We were there in late September and it was easy to find parking.”

“The friendly staff were so helpful and made me feel very welcome during my staff. The lift was out of order and the woman offered to help with my luggage and they were able to arrange a taxi for me in the morning. My room was spacious and modern. It benefitted from a small balcony to sit out on. The breakfast selection was good and a great selection of cheese, fruit and traditional baguettes. A short stroll from the hotel takes to to the old town and the train station is close by.”

“This is a small inn, in a wonderful part of Bergerac. It is impeccable on the inside and the hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this inn to anyone coming to Bergerac.”

“We wont be coming back here. It's very clean but in serious need of an upgrade. We had to fix the shower door and do some plumbing to get the shower to work. More of a 2 star than a 3 star. No ac. Slow Internet. Lots of towels and hot water. Never saw the staff after checkin.”

“The room was noisy and we could hear people above. The food and staff were amazing.”

“Unique property in an elevated position just outside Bergerac. Sublime setting and grounds with a lovely pool. Willem was a great and kind host to us which we thank him for. Not your run of the mill BnB but a cut above the rest.”

“Comfortable stay , lots of warm and charming interiors at the chateau! Restaurants are fantastic on both Michelin and Bistro… ”

“Séjour très agréable dans ce très joli manoir plein de charme avec des hôtes très accueillants et au petit soin. Parfait pour une pause détente au calme.”

“Vieille maison de montagne transformée en hôtel. Notre chambre était en sous sol sans fenêtre juste une porte vitrée. Douche dans coin sombre sans lumière. Pas de clim. Très vieillot !!pas de wifi ni Internet. Ça capte pas ! Sinon calme sur le bord de la N21 !!!”

“Très bel hébergement et très bon accueil”
