"Nice small studio but with some issues. Quite a few flies inside when I arrived. This is probably because it's on a farm with sheep. Found several long hairs in bathroom and on dining table which is gross. Bedsheet was rough stretchy material. No soap on arrival and I had to request it from the host. This sort of basic thing being overlooked is really not acceptable. The exterior photos do not reflect that a second guest property, called the Naisonette has been constructed next to this...

"We had the pleasure of staying for two weeks in Carol and Philipp’s cozy apartment and felt right at home. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and throughout our stay, the hosts went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, despite the intense heat. The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessible via an outdoor staircase. It is equipped with everything we needed—microwave, small oven, coffee maker, etc. The house is situated in a somewhat rural setting yet remains centrally located. Its architectural style is typical of the region; with its roof design, it even bears a slight resemblance to a Black Forest house :-) The Seine is just a short drive away. Duclair, a small town located right on the river, offers everything one might need: nice restaurants, a supermarket, a gas station, and a free car ferry across the Seine. The coast and its lovely seaside resorts can be reached within an hour, and the surrounding towns—such as Rouen and Lillebonne—are a treasure trove for culture enthusiasts. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday—even if it was scorching hot at times ;-)(translated by Google)"

"ALL hotel staff were incredibly helpful. The location is 5 mins away from the tram and 1 min from a grocery store. So easy to get into the main part of the city by tram that is every 10-15 mins. Trams are free on Saturday and the line goes to Gare Rue Verte which is the stop for Rouen Rive Droit the train line from Paris. The A/C in the room was great. The breakfast which was included was more than sufficient with lots of choices (eggs, cereal, meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit etc.) The hotel restaurant is okay for a quick pizza if you don't want to go to the restaurants. They will also heat up a frozen meal for you if you buy it at the grocery store. The biggest issue was the Wifi. It is a public wifi (which is fine) There is some kind of security issue with an expired security certificate, so you cannot use a VPN. Which is a huge issue if you want to do remote work. I was able to go down to the Starbucks at Saint Sever mall ground floor) and use their wifi for the price of coffee. The hotel staff tried their best with giving me suggestions of coworking places (but they were all quite expensive)"

"Non suelement il n'y avait pas d'air climatisé, mais il n'y avait pas pas de ventilateur. J'ai dû dormir la fenêtre ouverte. Les moustiques s'en sont donnés àcoeur joie. Par contre, le personnel a été très gentil, j'étais au 6ièmeétage et ils m'ont donné une autre chambre au 2ième étage. Il faissait moins chaud, mais pas pour la peine."

"I was so impressed by this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were very knowledgeable and the breakfast was amazingly diverse and fresh. Having a kitchen in our room was extremely convenient for a family with young children and the hotel is within a very short walking distance of everything you want to see. Overall this hotel was wonderful and I would come back in a heartbeat!"
