The accommodation is a fully furnished first floor gite that sleeps four (if necessary an additional person can be accommodated). The gite comprises of a sitting room, kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedroom, shower room and separate wc, with its own patio/barbecue area.
Ample off street parking.
The gite is not suitable for children under six, and is a smoker and pet free zone.

Carol and Philip were super hosts, very helpful with questions about the area and driving querks in the area. The Gite was very comfortable and equiped with everything anyone would need. As other guests have stated, a car in a must to stay here.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We felt immediately at home. Everything was clean, the kitchen was very well equipped. They have sent us a good explanation in advance on how we can get to the lodging. They also surprised us with many small attentions. There was a lot of good information and suggestions for walking tours and sightseeing near and far. We particularly appreciated the fact that we could buy from them the bus tickets to visit Rouen… We would choose this lovely place again. We spent a whole week and went visiting so many interesting monuments and landscapes.

Gîte très bien situé et très agréable

La maison et le jardin sont ravissants et les hôtes sont d'une très grande gentillesse et générosité. On a eu de bonnes idées de sorties et d'excellents conseils. On recommande chaleureusement !

A little paradies

A little paradies with a beautiful garden. The flat was well equipped for us, nothing was missing and it was very spacious. We had a parking space right next to the house and were allowed to use the garden. The owners were very nice and were always available.

Have toured around France 3 times and this time we used a base area to get around from.. couldn't have asked for better. not to far from places of interest and yet rural enough for peace and quiet,the host's were easily accessible and we were well informed of the areas surrounding us. place was spotless and well maintained garden is beautiful.....

Lovely stay in a lovely apartment in spite of the weather!!

We spent four comfortable days in the lovely self-contained apartment above Carol and Philip’s home. The two bedrooms were well appointed with plenty of hangars in the closets, heating that we were able to adjust ourselves on a couple very cool nights, and views onto their beautiful garden. The shower room was separate from the WC, a great convenience, and the front sitting room had a TV, books to borrow, and lots of information flyers about Normandy. The very well-equipped kitchen had a kettle, a toaster, a two-burner cook top, and a counter-top oven all of which we put to good use. A lovely welcome package greeted us with a bottle of wine, butter and milk, jam, and a loaf of bread. The apartment was well-located for our purposes, out in the country away from the noise of city living. We were grateful to have dedicated off-road parking when we returned in the evenings after a day of touring. We had some helpful and pleasant conversations with Carol and Philip who are very personable. We would highly recommend this property for your travels in Normandy.

Leuk verblijf bij aardige Engelse eigenaren. Het huisje doet erg Engels aan. Het is op de bovenverdieping, wat vermeld staat op de advertentie. Het ligt aan een doorgaande weg, waar je in het huisje niet heel veel last van hebt, maar om, van de oprit te komen wel lastig.

Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Die Gegend ist großartig. In ca. 60min Fahrtzeit mit dem Auto gibt es viele schöne Strände zwischen Le Havre und Dieppe zu erkunden, alte Schlösser, Klöster, Städte. Die Gastgeber sind so, wie man es sich wünscht. Hilfsbereit, herzlich und doch zurückhaltend bis man von ihnen etwas wissen möchte oder braucht. Nur die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern wird von der Vermietungsplattform komplett unterbunden es war nur mit großer Mühe möglich eine Telefonnummer von den Gastgebern zu erhalten, da diese von der Plattform ständig unterdrückt wurde und auch das senden der eigenen Telefonnummer oder E-Mail-Adresse war nicht einfach möglich. Doch dafür können die Gastegber nichts. Wir empfehlen deshalb unbedingt vor der Anreise rechtzeitig die Kontaktdaten auszutauschen. Allerdings muss man dafür schon einiges an Phantasie entwickeln, damit man das Ziel erreichen kann. Wir werden deshalb diese Plattform nicht mehr nutzen.

Schöner Start in den Urlaub

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt (3 Nächte) in Penneville sehr genossen. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich am Rand von Saint Paer, eine gute Lage , um die Normandie zu erkunden. Carol ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich.Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und geräumig.

Le gîte est situé au premier étage d'une très jolie maison. L'accès est indépendant. L'appartement est vaste et très bien équipé,parfait pour 4 personnes. Il y a un petit jardin très anglais et qui est un refuge pour les oiseaux.La situation est idéale pour rayonner en Normandie. Les hôtes sont d'une grande gentillesse et très attentionné. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème, nous recommendons cette location qui a une 《english touch》qui en fait tout le charme.

Très bon séjour

Des propriétaires très accueillants qui habitent au rez-de-chaussée. La manoeuvre de stationnement avec notre grand Scenic était un peu délicate, sinon tout était parfait! Le calme, le confort, l'équipement... Et quand on a besoin de quelque chose de spécifique, il suffit de le demander à nos hôtes. Nous étions parfaitement situés pour visiter Rouen, la côte d'Albâtre, les boucles de la Seine...
