"Great food. I’m a vegetarian and my husband is a semi meat eater. We were very pleased with the food variety offered. Let me say…we have been living in Dominica for two months…it’s been a challenge. We came to Rosalie Bay Resort primarily for hot water and reliable AC…we got both and much much more!!"

"The staff is wonderful, very pleasant! The hotel needs a renovation especially the older sections. The rooms need to be cleaned better. Although there are elevators,( not always strategically located), they need to install ramps for those people who may not be able to navigate stairs! The food was good, but only a buffet for breakfast every morning was not ideal. "

"This house was a little slice of heaven in an unspoiled country with the friendliest people you will ever meet. The house owner and host were both available, attentive, and helpful as our family of five enjoyed the village of Callibishie and the island of Dominica. The house is clean and laid out well, with amazing views, an outdoor pool, and an indoor hot tub. Chris connected us with a local who provided us with meals many days, stocked our pantry before we arrived, and gave us helpful hints for our trip. We connected with Wendy from Untouchable Tours. Keep in mind, Calibishie is in the north, near the airport, but 1.5 hours from Roseau, the capital. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Villa Copthall! The service was exceptional! Many thanks to the great staff who took very good care of us. I will miss you all. I hope we can meet again! Additionally, the location was very serene. I loved the coziness of being tucked away between the mountains…yet, the hotel was not too far from the capital, and many attractions! My only note to mention was that we saw that breakfast was included in the price. When we checked in, we were told that part of the breakfast (fruit and a drink I believe) were complimentary. However, I was really impressed and grateful that the staff cooked meals to my liking, and even adjusted the menu on occasion. Overall… Great staff! Great food! Great service! Great location!!!"

"We had an amazing stay at this resort in Dominica—it truly felt like an escape into nature. The views were incredible, and the whole setting was peaceful and refreshing. One of the highlights was the food. Every meal was outstanding, and Chef Damien made the experience unforgettable. You can tell a lot of care and creativity goes into each dish—it was easily some of the best food I’ve had while traveling. The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of their country. They loved sharing information about Dominica, from local culture to must-see spots, which made the experience feel even more personal and meaningful. Laerie took such good care of us at breakfast and lunch, remembering our likes and dislikes, and sharing interesting information about the food and property. Visiting the open air spa is a MUST! I had two massages, which were the best I have ever received! Noreen is fantastic, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. We'd definitely come back.
