“Absolutely picturesque highly functional this stay. The property was amazing with a massive backyard area, stocked kitchen, excellent amenities (yay hot tub!) and in home washer and dryer.Really felt like a home away from home. Dog friendly was a huge plus for us and in a very accessible location relative to Carmel, Monterey & Big Sur.Excellent and timely communication from the owner and property manager. Couldn’t recommend more and plan on coming back again soon!”

“Very peaceful, private location, away from the crowds of the village and beach. Thoughtfully decorated, with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a few days without cooking (a real vacation for me!) We did use the microwave to reheat restaurant leftovers, and the toaster for breakfasts to save on dining out. Check-in was easy. The 25 stairs were easy for us and our dog. It was in a great location just 10-15 minutes away from downtown Monterey/17 mile drive area and a great homebase for trips to Carmel-By-The-Sea, Point Lobos, and Big Sur. “My wife and I have been visiting Monterey for years and love the cool weather and peaceful vibe of the area. First, the accommodations were excellent. The unit itself is very new. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and nestled in the Skyline Forest area of Monterey. The roads and driveways can be steep, but the views are amazing. “We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.”
