Lovely peaceful location.
Lovely peaceful location. Plenty of walks from the door or a short drive away. If you get up early you have a good chance to see a family of deer go past each morning. The lodge is well layed out and very comfortable. Thank you to the owners for the wine and biscuits. Would love to come back again next January if available.

Short break in New Forest
Well equipped and arranged holiday home in a good location. Parking for two cars right outside. Everything felt quite new. Holiday park has what you expect, although note that the shop closes at 7pm so make sure your stocked up for dinner/breakfast before then. Arrangenents for check in/out were straight forward.

We have just come back from a weekend away at Deer Glade Lodge, which is a private holiday let.
We have just come back from a weekend away at Deer Glade Lodge, which is a private holiday let. We had a lovely time. The lodge is clean and spacious, few cobwebs around the lights but you couldn't see them in the daylight so easily missed. I had the most comfortable sleep ever and even went in search of who manufactured the mattress, sad times it is exclusive to ABI Homes. The king-size bedroom has an ensuite with shower and toilet but there is also another shower room and toilet separate to this room for the use of the twin room. The twin beds were huge! This lodge had full afternoon sun on the balcony and seemed to be the last for it to leave which was really nice. The site has a lovely pizzeria which also serves loaded fries and amazing looking gourmet burgers. This is directly next to the kids park and splash pad. There is no evening entertainment on site. Also on site and beside the restaurant is a fire pit you can sit around and have a drink from the bar or kids can roast marshmallows. There is also a small on site shop and the ladies on reception were really helpful in regards to cycle routes etc.We were not fussed to not having TV as the 4g reception was perfect and we had our devices with us. This lodge also has it's own free WiFi, so does the park if needed. You can walk straight in to the new forest from this park as there is a gate at the back of the site. Horses were seen instantly! â¤ï¸In the evening there was hardly any noise from neighbours or those visiting the bar and kids area. We took our bikes and cycled along the road for a short while before entering the new forest. There isn't much in there immediate area but there is a petrol station, pub and local nisa store within a 5 minute car ride and everywhere is really central to this area as you join the main roads after a short drive through the new forest. This is a great base and we will be booking again , thank you
