Hidden gem
The property was a little obscure to find but the owners called and told us exactly how to find it. At the end of the hidden driveway, very dark and mysterious was a glorious cottage, with grounds waiting to be explored. Spectacular view from the bedroom window and from the veranda with ample seating and tables, looking down into the garden where a large pond lies teeming with fish, benches all around the pond, some slightly hidden in the bushes, so many places to perch in the sunlight and have a read or a cup of tea. Not looking brand spanking new, just a little worn but so homely, a real dream landscape. The cottage has everything you need, for us it was a place to lay our heads down, waking up to sunlight through the window, a quick breakfast then off to explore the coast line.
The local pub, excellent for food, drink and entertainment.
The only downside was that the log burner was out of action 😢
