“Friendly staff. Room very clean. Bed lovely & comfy. Could have done with a net that fitted window. No breakfast or food but we only used as a base to visit relatives so that didn’t matter. Fridge in room was good to chill drinks. ”

“The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.”

“Stayed in the Stag room. Was beautifully decorated, big room and en suites. Absolutely massive bed and really comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food is amazing! Would highly recommend, really enjoyed our stay, thank you!”

“The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet at night and couldnt hear anything when breakfast started in the morning. Peacocks outside werent too vocal early morning so we got plenty of sleep. Staff were outstanding, friendly, polite and smiley. Breakfast was very tasty, only slight moan was portions could have been bigger but maybe thats us being greedy. We will definitely come back and stay again, we loved it”

“As a family of four with 2 teens and a big dog, it's difficult to find somewhere not over priced and a big enough space for us all. We stayed in a very spacious family room. Bathroom had a big drench shower and heated towel rail. Plenty of space for our dog's big bed! Ben and the other staff were very friendly and attentive, also accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was included and fantastic choice. We ate at the pub on the second night and the food really was fantastic and a good varied menu.……

“Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely. Gorgeous view. Food was good too and I appreciated the breakfast hamper although some might prefer a hot breakfast. Only minor annoyance was hearing lots of kitchen noise when I was trying to get an early night. But I was so tired I couldn’t be bothered to get up to ask anyone to be quiet! Overall I would go back. The staff were all lovely and helpful and found me safe overnight storage for my bike. ”
