“This property was perfect! A great location, just outside the wall but 10 minutes and you were in the centre. The apartment was easy to access when we arrived. “I have been to York many times and stayed in many great places around the city but this beats them all. An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. “Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms in a great location with free parking. I’ve stayed before and have just tried to book for next year but nearly every weekend is booked up through 2026. This time the noise around the apartment was a bit more. Doors slamming, people walking past and up the stairs not being considerate. Hairdryer provides, plenty of towels, hand wash and shower wash. “This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive.
