Nice private spot in the woods

Nice cabin with all the amenities you need, close to lots of outdoor activities and restaurants too. Really enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed our visit

We had a great stay at your South Forks cabin. The cabin itself was charming and provided everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens & towels felt luxurious. Mornings spent having coffee on the front porch, surrounded by trees, so very peaceful. The nighttime lighting was charming. We enjoyed the walking paths. We were close to Saluda and Hendersonville. Communication with the host was easy. We did have an occasional problem with the narrow gravel roads, at one point meeting an oncoming car (who I believe was heading out the entrance road) and neither of us had room to pass, resulting in us having to back down the road to allow the other person to pass, which was a bit tricky. I believe the entrance & exit roads are marked but the signs are hard to see. We would definitely stay with you again!

Dangerous stay

Terrain required a 4 wheel drive vehicle which we did not know we needed, We were mostly unable to drive on the stones and actually slid sidewise into a ditch because of lack of traction and the very steep and tilted roads. We were given the wrong check in code which caused a big delay in intering the cabin. We were promised a K cup coffee maker , it was not provided.Walking was dangerous so we were housebound essentially. We found out late that if you turn on the light in the bathroon it cancels most of the local tv stations.WE were not happy campers. The maintenance team did pull us out of the ditch however, a plus. Would not return here again.The kitchen was too small and inconvenient.
