Customer Service does not exist
We have just returned from our trip to the Outer Banks. We are really disappointed with our entire experience with Surf or Sound Realty who VRBO lists on behalf of. The customer service from Surf or Sound was awful. Our elevator broke on the first day, it was not repaired until 12 hours before we checked out. We had two 75 year old in laws with mobility who were unable to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs daily. Surf or Sound not only didn't care, they didn't even reply to my calls or texts for over 48 hours. When they did finally get back to me after their "time off" was over, they gave no apologies or excuses why no one bothered to help us. This unfortunately soured our stay for the whole week. Great planning and effort needed to go into helping our elderly family get up or down the stairs. Absolutely horrible customer service in my opinion. There were numerous other things that went wrong or didn't work as expected. However, it's a moot point now that we are home. Just beware of SURF OR SOUND reality, they will NOT support you during your stay.
