"An easy 20 minute walk into historic Salzburg, 15 minutes walk from main train station, but bus stop 100m down the road if you opt for public transport to these locations. Helpful staff at front desk. Nil complaints about the room and bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend it, and return. Safe are for a solo female traveller."

"We stayed 2 nights in June and loved many things about this hotel. First, it was very close to the train station, which made coming and going with luggage very easy. They included a local bus pass, which was so nice, but we ended up walking to all the locations in Salzburg since they weren't that far from the hotel. The rooms are small but adequate, and the beds are comfortable. The shower is like being in a rainforest with such a large shower head. There is also a hand-held wand that is very convenient, and we always had plenty of hot water. We purchased the breakfast and were very glad we did. It was so convenient and delicious. There was a good variety, very fresh and of high quality. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We were able to keep our luggage in their on-site lockers since we had a tour booked for the last day and would be back after check-out. We enjoyed our time at the Cocoon and would stay there again."

"Excellent hotel. Only disappointing thing was not being able to have a drink with a group of five people in the rooftop bar. They were plenty of tables for four and we were told we could only have a drink inside."

"The Hyperion is a great hotel in Salzburg. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean, spacious and well maintained. The hotel breakfast buffet is top shelf. The hotel is located across from the main park and is within easy walking distance to the old town and castle. Even though there are many fine hotels in Salzburg, this is where I will stay again on my next trip."

"The hotel was very accommodating allowing us to check in early. The room was clean and comfortable. If I had been traveling by myself, the group of people sitting and drinking outside the hotel would have been a concern. Location was amazing and the staff were great."
