Enjoyable afordable clean hotel. The highlights for us were the stunning sea views and great staff. Thank you to Virginia at the bar who helped us with our Spanish lessons and was always a joy. We enjoyed our four nights immensely. The only thing we thought could be better was the food especially in the two restaurants, buffet was far better than both but we still had full bellies everyday. I would happily return again !
Sea view from our room where on one of the days we could see whales. We were happy we brought our binoculars for such an amazing sight.

Pros: elegant hotel in a beautiful setting; courteous, well-trained staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and sent us a gift when they learned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary; our room was large and comfortable and had a balcony with a view of the harbor. Cons: we have stayed at many all-inclusives, and the food here was a real disappointment; some dishes were quite tasty, and the fruit at breakfast generous, but other selections were mediocre at best. The meal at the Mediterranean a la carte restaurant was hardly recognizable as such and was barely edible. Additional wait staff are needed, too. Food services in a four-star hotel should be at the same level as the rest of the services.

La vue depuis l'hôtel est sublime. Attention de choisir une chambre côté ouest (422) car celles côté ville sont sujettes à beaucoup de bruit de circulation et de musique. La plage est petite mais le côté droit était agréable. Bonne nourriture en abondance surtout au restaurant méditerranéen. Les animateurs sont jovials et endiablés. La piscine était correcte avec une belle vue. Le personnel avec qui nous avons eu des services était correct. Frantz, Abraham et l'équipe à la réception et au lobby ont été aux petits soins pour nous et nous ont réglés bien des problèmes. Un station de taxi est proche de la sortie de l'hôtel pour des excursions privées (demander Joël). Dommage que la ville ne soit pas à la hauteur de l'hôtel. Éviter les boutiques de souvenirs de la ville.

The room is spacious and the lobby is pretty. The location has an amazing night time view from the terrace. The buffet was ok and the Dominican restaurant was very good. They don’t have water bottles at the restaurants or buffet so you have to bring your own either you buy bottles from outside or bring the ones included in your room fridge. The resort itself has no activities aside from the pool, the beach and a nightly show on the terrace. The shows are loud and you will hear the music really loud in your room until about 11:30pm the pool water is not heated and the hot tub basically has cold water in it too. The beach is public and the water was so dirty. Floating food, cans and bottles among other things. Our toilet had to get repaired because it would not flush, the soap bottle glued to the wall fell off with one pump and the safe deposit box did not want to lock. The shower door is useless and water falls all over the floor. Overall it was just ok and I would not stay here again.
