Loved My stay at Alta Vista!

This is such a special place! So much thought & care has been put into Alta Vista, into each of the condos. It is absolutely beautiful & an amazing location, super easy walk to the beach. The rooftop is an amazing place to hang out & view the beach from. Loved my stay here & can't wait to be back!

This is a beautiful property! It was perfect for our family of 4. The pool was great and it was walking distance from the Samara New Camp where our kids went to camp for 2 weeks. The host and all the people working the property are very kind and helpful! The French boulangerie down the road had delicious bread, iguana verde is a nice little super market and the sodas (small local restaurants) are top notch. It is a bit of a walk from downtown, but it’s a lovely walk along the beach when it’s not high tide! We had a fabulous time!!

Beautiful views of the horses and ocean!

Fun low key location. Can walk to the beach and to town (walking beachfront to the town is fastest). Close to a good restaurant called La Perla. Big windows.

Great location, reasonably priced, and a comfortable stay. The unit we were in was well-equipped, and the communication from the owner was fantastic. We stayed in 4 separate places in our visit to Costa Rica, and this was easily our best experience. The town of Samara is also an absolute gem.

Walking distance to town

Great location with an amazing view and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Provided beach chairs and umbrella were an added bonus for the hot days by the ocean.

Exactly What We Were Looking For

We loved our stay at Alta Vista. The location couldn't be better. Easy, sort walk to the beach. Walk or super short drive to town. The pool was perfect to cool down. Patrick was an amazing host and did everything to ensure we were taken care of.

Lovely apartment

This apartment and property are well cared for, secure and a short walk down a road to the beach. The apartment has gorgeous views in the main area and primary bed room. There is a river crossing from this section of the beach as well as it is a little far from the main section of town which is great if you want a quieter place to stay but does require a vehicle or quite a walk to get to the restaurants and shopping.

Excellent all around!

Spent a beautiful relaxing week at the Begonia suite at Alta Vista. The property is very clean and well maintained. Fantastic little details like beach chairs and laundry on site made our stay effortless. The views are spectacular and access to the beach is superb. The layout and decor is simple, modern and spacious. 100% recommended. I’m sure we will be back.

What an incredible visit to Alta Vista in Samara. Samara has managed to retain low key and authentic Costa Rican vibes. And there is no better place to enjoy them than Alta Vista. The condo was perfect for our family. Located on the edge of town just outside the hubub of the town center but within easy walking distance of everything including the beach! The host ensured every detail was taken care of and they were extremely helpful and generous with their. Local recommendations. I could not recommend more highly! The best 16 days in Sámara! Highly recommend Begonia and any of the other units - this place is amazing. The owners are responsive and kind. We were able to walk to the beach, to eat and to school, Location is perfect and the views are great! We plan to be back next year!

Just as good as the first time

Our second visit to Alta vista condos and it did not disappoint. Also new additions such as renting bikes right on site was so convenient. There’s also a golf cart for rent too now. This time we rented a two bedroom unit and brought family, worked out great with the two bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. We definitely love coming back to Samara and Alta vista is becoming our go to place.

Great stay at Playa Samara

Our family of 5 with three kids really enjoyed our stay. The walk to the beach was east and the kids spent hours enjoying the pool. The property was clean and we liked having a locked garage stall. Great stay, we would come again!

Great location!

I loved waking up to the sun rising over the jungle and the ocean waves crashing off to the left. There are heaps of beautiful animals around this area. We loved our time here. Thank you!

Excellent condo!!

We had no complaints, the condo, location, and staff were all absolutely wonderful! From what we saw, this condo is one of the nicest places to stay in Samara and I would stay here again. Samara has the best food we experienced in Costa Rica and a beautiful quiet beach. The night turtle nesting tour is a MUST!

Great condo

We just spent 3 weeks at Patrick’s place. The condo was great! Plenty of space for my family of 4. The condo staff was friendly and helpful. We ended up renting a golf cart as the walk into town was a bit long for my kiddos. Would definitely stay again.

Great condo in Samara.

We always enjoy coming back to Condo Alta Vista. Samara is a great spot and the condo is a three minute walk to a spectacular 5 kilometre beach. Owners and staff are great and they make improvements to the property yearly which makes a great space better and better. The coco is well equipped and very safe. Highly recommend Condo Alta Vista!

Great Location for upscale experience

Patrick and all the staff were great. We really enjoyed the location which was walking distance to everything in Samara yet far enough away to feel secluded. The wild life on the property was amazing . We had lots of monkeys, coatimundis, parrots, and the elusive motmot and scarlet macaw. Excellent all around Thanks Everyone

Wonderful apartment in a great location

We greatly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Altavista at the end of March. Beautiful location close to the beach, breathtaking views and outstanding apartment and amenities. We had some very hot days, and it was great to have the pool. Fun to grill on the patio. We recommend the half-day boat tour with Denis' son-in-law -- we had dozens of dolphins swim up close to the boat and had a great snorkeling experience (even though we had no luck with the fishing). Sámara is a very special place. Also don't miss the sunset on Carrillo Beach and the nearby Barrigona Beach. We biked there, which maybe wasn't the best idea on a 95-degree day, but it was beautiful. Would love to come back sometime.

Lovely, spacious condo, great location.

We loved Samara, we loved the Condo - clean, safe, everything you would need in the kitchen, spacious, great double shower, a stroll to the beach, a little pool for a cool dip, great extras like beach towels and beach chairs. The views are beautiful as are the monkeys, iguanas, horses and birds. Great beach for strolling, surfing, and drinking cocktails 🍸🍸! All perfect apart from one thing... the 6 day festival in the field opposite between Xmas and New Year, unless you are a very heavy sleeper or partying until the early hours it does unfortunately disrupt the tranquility, just something to consider during this one week of the year. Other than this I would 100% recommend this beautiful spot and would love to return.
