「The studio was really nice and clean and the bed was so comfy. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The upstairs neighbors while we were there were nice and not loud or anything. Fishing on the paddle boat was exactly what we needed. 」

「Went on a mother/daughter getaway for our first time on Orcas Island. The location was great, a little more out in the woods, but only a short distance to the cute town of Eastsound. You can see the water from the porch and there is a waterfall right next to you that you can hear/see. There were people who stayed above us that you could easily hear walking/using the water but not too disruptive. The only item that wasn’t as advertised was we were missing a hair dryer. Otherwise, great low price...

「A few friends wanted to get away for a quiet, relaxed weekend and this was the perfect place for it. It was perfectly peaceful to watch the tide and the local fauna - we saw deer, eagles and a seal. The beds were comfy, the kitchen reasonably well stocked and checking in and out was a breeze. I would definitely stay at this property again for a quiet weekend with a small group. 」

「We enjoyed it, but some constructive criticism. * The door keypad code should be shortened. A 10-digit code is ridiculous. I believe 4 or 5 is adequate and would eliminate much frustration. *We rented after reading an April review noting the primary shower was terrible. The plumbing fixtures are old and not functional. The owner replied that the problem would be fixed. Well, it was not, and my we had to endure a trickle shower. I used the guest bath, but my wife likes the privacy of her bath....

The house is listed at a premium rate due to the location but lacks other amenities such as updated appliances, bedding and WiFi. Watching the wildlife was the large living rooms windows was a great way to start and end the day. The largest bedroom that states it sleeps 5 has no heating source available and is very cold at night. 」

The location is close to Oak Harbor and was only a 20-minute drive to Deception Pass, where the wedding was located. The entire interior of the home has been beautifully renovated and updated.
