"Lovely hotel with lots of its original character, plus modern amenities. I love the extra touches like the nice espresso machine always available, the fancy water bottle filling machine. Plus flavored water, cookies, popcorn, and fruit in the lobby all the time! Room felt clean and safe, though as a woman traveling alone, I wish there were a chain on the door alongside the deadbolt. The mini fridge was bigger and colder than ones I’ve had in similarly priced hotels. My room had a huge walk-in closet! Walgreens down the block, fun shopping around the corner, great food at a classic restaurant next door, nice staff—next time I’m in San Francisco I’ll definitely be back!"

"Overall wonderful experience. Staff was great, room was great.. a little cold but housekeeping brought up an extra blanket and i was perfect. Outdoor fireplaces were lovely. Great location so close to pier 39. "

"The room is spacious and for the price more equipped than i expected for the price. The shuttle runs on time as outlined- great for peace of mind when travelling. I had a long layover so this was an excellent option for me. Hotel breakfast is the typical fare for a hotel. Personally I would appreciated some sugar free options in the oatmeal and yogurt but otherwise decent options. Happy that I picked this place "

"The STAFF!! So friendly, chipper, smiley, warm - the bellhops/valets, in particular, all seemed to love their work and their jobs and get along so well with one another. Their enthusiasm was palpable! I travel over 150 days/year for business and I can’t remember the last time I saw a more jovial team. Bravo! Housekeeping was also very friendly. "
