Podere Consalvo is a typical Tuscan country house. Surrounded by the soft hills of the Chianti Classico, lies the approximately 4-acre property of the Consalvo family with their characteristic guesthouse in the heart of Tuscany.
The guest house is divided into two living units. Apartment 'Olivo'- and Apartment, Cipresso'
Both apartments have their private entrance and outdoor area with chairs table and chairs. It is only 15 km from Florence. Thanks to its favorable location (265 m above sea level), it has a very pleasant climate and opens up generously to the surrounding vineyards and olive groves. It offers our guests a beautiful and untouched landscape, the prerequisite to offer our guests a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Organic olive oil is produced. A spacious garden with olives and fruit trees, as well as a vegetable garden are at guests' disposal. A panoramic view to Florence with the cathedral dome is at your feet. Perfect stay in mesmerizing Tuscany!

We loved everything about our stay! Elizabeth is super kind and helpful but also really respectful about our privacy. The house is really clean and comfortable everyone has room for relaxation and enjoying nature at its best. Really convenient location within a short drive of beautiful towns and delicious restaurants. We will absolutely love to come back one day!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Elisabeth et Matéo. Merci pour votre accueil et votre disponibilité. La ferme toscane est très bien située , grande facilité pour visiter, Sienne, San Giminiano, Pise... et bien évidemment Florence. Lovely place but no privacy...be careful

We did not feel comfortable at this property due to the lack of privacy. The property is covered by lots of CCTV cameras and we always had the feeling we were being watched. It was not possible to relax even in the area by our part of the property. Lovely swimming pool, quiet location, good facilities and clean accommodation. Very very hot in the property and difficult to sleep at night

Fantastic Location.

we have just come back from 10 nights at this wonderful place,located right in the heart of the chianti region just outside the village of San Casciano. The cottages are great, nicely furnished with everything you need, a good outside space for eating or sitting in the sun and best of all a great pool. The owner Elsabeth, is a fantastic host always on hand to give helpful tips on where to go, arranging visits to vineyards or even directions on where to park on visits to Florance. The weather was unbelievably hot even the locals were complaining. We will definitely return

A Tuscan Idyll

We had a perfect 12 day stay at beautiful Podere Consalvo. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped and the pool very welcome after a hot day sightseeing. Elisabeth is an excellent, warm and friendly host who provided us with a tasty breakfast on our first morning as well as home-produced, delicious honey, marmalade, olive oil as well as eggs from her chickens. She kindly advised us on free parking areas in Florence and places of interest in the area. I also enjoyed the art class with the highly skilled art tutor. We would have no hesitation recommending this farmhouse to others. A relaxing base from which to see all the beauty that Tuscany has to offer. Thank you Elisabeth for all your effort to make us welcome, we had a great time.

Wunderschön gelegen, sehr ruhig, herzliches Willkommen

Die Wohnung selber läßt keinen Wunsch offen: sehr sauber, komfortabel, und dann die Aussicht! Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, die kurze aber höchst interessante Einführung in den Olivenanbau war einfach Klasse, dafür an dieser Stelle nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön! Für meine Frau und mich (die wir einfach ein wenig Ruhe gebraucht haben) war das genau das Richtige. Und wer es nicht so ruhig mag: die nächste/n Bushaltestelle/n sind in fußläufiger Entfernung, von dort so um die 40 Minuten nach Florenz. Mit dem Auto ist man in einer knappen halben Stunde in Siena. Rundum gut, wir suchen schon nach einem Termin für unseren nächsten Besuch dort.

Beautiful setting with a small caveat

We loved the property and the setting and Elisabeth could not have been a more welcoming host. Casa Podere and it's grounds are beautiful and the views of the surrounding countryside are everything we hoped Tuscany would be. We really liked San Casciano which is a short walk away and provided for most of our needs. We rented the apartment closest to the main house and it was well equipped for lazy days in the garden and eating in. The only downside to our stay was that the other rental apartment in the annex was also occupied and the noise between the two became quite intrusive (+ we couldn't use the beautiful terrace!). I think we were unlucky in that the other guests seemed somewhat nocturnal (and noisy) but nonetheless it spoiled the feeling of being somewhere peaceful and relaxing. Coming from central London I didn't expect more noise at night in the Tuscan hills. A small blot on our stay but something of which to be aware.

Séjour en Toscane près de San Casciano

Une destination de rêve... Elisabeth et sa famille sont des gens charmants, sachant doser parole, écoute et discrétion. Leur domaine est un havre de paix : "luxe, calme et volupté", comme disait l'autre (Baudelaire, me semble-t-il). Elisabeth fait son miel et élève des chèvres, sans tomber dans le folklore. Après des journées harassantes à Florence, on recommande le repas du soir au village de San Casciano où on trouve un tas de petits restaurants tranquilles et authentiques. A recommander également, le petit déjeuner roboratif d'Elisabeth, élégamment servi dans un panier d'osier posé devant la porte. Elisabeth est allemande d'origine mais vous pourrez également converser avec elle en italien, en anglais et, si vous insistez, avec quelques bribes de français. Bref, vous l'aurez compris, une destination où nous retournons sans hésitation.

Relaxed verblijf tussen de olijfgaarden met een prachtig uitzicht

We hebben genoten van onze vakantie op het landgoed Podere Consalvo. De woning Olivio met grote tuin voldeed prima voor ons drieën. Het ruime zwembad hadden we meestal voor onszelf. De vriendelijke gastvrouw Elisabeth was zeer belangstellend en voorzag ons van nuttige tips. De Toscaanse bezienswaardigheden zijn allemaal makkelijk te bereiken. Bij verschillende restaurants in San Casciano hebben we heerlijk gegeten. Kortom, een aanrader voor een fijne vakantie centraal in Toscane.
