Below you will find details about our 1 bed/ 1 bath home, Cj’s Ocean Oasis, located in the heart of Pacific Beach near the Law Street Bluff.
This lovely lower story duplex home is just 5 blocks from the beach and has an ocean view patio area, allowing you to fully enjoy the California lifestyle! On your patio there is an outdoor shower, patio chairs, an umbrella and a BBQ so your evenings and afternoons can be spent relaxing at home listening to the sound of the waves. Upon entering Cj’s Ocean Oasis there is a comfortable living room with high ceilings, exposed beams, plenty of natural light and a new 50 inch high resolution flat screen TV. There are two portable AC units, a 12K BTU unit is in the living room and a 10K BTU unit is in the bedroom. The bedroom also has a large flat screen HD TV. A queen sofa bed with an upgraded gel-infused memory foam mattress allows for extra sleeping room. The kitchen has hardwood cabinets, granite countertops, appliances, utensils, and everything you need for cooking and eating at home around the dining table for four. The bedroom has a sumptuous pillow top king size bed with a large flat screen TV.
We provide two adult beach cruiser bicycles for exploring the miles of boardwalk beginning at Law Street and running along the ocean and 4,000 acre Mission Bay Park. You can walk the short 1/2 block to the beach with the provided beach chairs, towels, and sand toys and spend the day. Nearby there is Palisades Park, which was voted best beach overlook for watching the sunsets and the surfers. It is only minutes away from SeaWorld, the world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town with it's excellent restaurants, Belmont Park and it's authentic 1920's wooden roller coaster, Seaport Village, downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, the Convention Center and Petco Park.
Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)
*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!
It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!
Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.
Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.
With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!
PLEASE NOTE: There may be some light construction noise nearby and outside of the home. We apologize for any disruption during your stay as neighbors are renovating their home.
Pets - not allowed
We recommend a car for navigating San Diego, but public transportation is just a couple blocks away. If you're planning to stay put in Pacific Beach, there is no need for cars! Just ride our provided bikes or walk the neighborhood.
