This hotel is located in a central part of downtown that facilitates easy access to shopping, eateries, restaurants and transport. The lobby is lovely and offers seating for a daily breakfast of pastries and beverages. The lobby and rooms are very clean and the property well maintained. The decorations offer a nice vibe and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room had a comfortable bed and television with a good selection. Post Street is a noisy location but adds to the big city vibe. I will definitely stay again.

Have been staying at Beresford Arms for >> 20 years when in town for a Trade Show. Love the old world detail and design and ambiance of the property. Their complimentary breakfast is wonderful. The only 'issue' I have with the Beresford Arms is their TV and channel availability, not to mention picture quality. Have a selection of 15-20 channels and the picture quality, resolution etc is NOT great.

Loved every bit of our stay here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so kind. Our beds were comfortable and our room was sparkling clean. There is some noise from the streets around the building- but this is to be expected in a large city and a building built in 1910. The location is perfect for exploring SF. We walked to the wharf in about 35 minutes - which also takes you on some of the best street views of the city. I never felt unsafe once and the hotel location had very few homeless nearby. An Uber home back from downtown was approx $19. Absolutely would stay again!

We stay a week. Beautiful hotel, but could get any sleep because Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night we were woke up at midnight and kept awake till 4:00 ish in the morning by loud obnoxious music. They staff said they could not do anything about it. So vacation was rude by not getting enough sleep.
