"Amazing spot! The view from the balcony can be a bit limited because of the beautiful trees. The locations is amazing, though. It is only two minutes drive to the area with the restaurants. The delivered breakfast in cute baskets (8.30-9.00 am). The Sunday one was late for about 35 minutes. Other than that, it was worth the experience."

"The Lighthouse was perfect for our family. The cabin is located up the road on a quiet spot. The place does have a feel of a lighthouse. It had everything we need for our 3 night stay. When we arrived, the place was clean with no pet hair, which was one of our request. The Lighthouse had all the kitchen and bath items we needed. When we went out to eat, the location was close to town. The family liked seating out on the porch and looked out at the stars at night. The Lighthouse was the right size for our small family. It can accommodate up to six but would be more comfortable with a family that’s four under. Overall it was a pleasant experience."

"Great location. Short 20 minute hike to the Devil's slide trail head. Very comfortable cabin. Nice Fireplace and seating area in the living room. Only drawback is that the wall separating the two rooms is very thin. Can easily hear conversations from the other room. Light sleepers be warned. "

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was great! We had 11 people and all fit comfortably. The location, layout of the house, and amenities are exactly as described on the site. The house and surrounding land was clean and well maintained. Although the driveway is steep, it was easy to navigate; definitely recommend turning around at the top so as to make the departure easier. I appreciated the prompt response by the property manager about check in, check out, and the one time we had to call (we asked to have the trash removed as we filled the outside garbage cans before our check out date.) The town of Idyllwild itself was fantastic; there’s a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood of the house, including hiking, shopping, fishing on Hemet Lake, enjoying the delicious restaurants (Atomic Cow and Idyllwild Pizza were our faves), and pottery painting at Earth Fire. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing vacation with extended family. Highly recommend!"
