"I had a frustrating experience with this stay. As a first-time visitor to the area, I expected at least a general location or address ahead of time so I could plan my trip and know where I was heading. Unfortunately, the hosts refused to provide any address until right before check-in at 3PM. While I understand safety and privacy concerns, not giving guests any sense of location in advance makes it very difficult to plan, especially when traveling to an unfamiliar city. It added unnecessary stress trying to figure out logistics last minute. On top of that, they were very strict about the exact time 3PM they would release the address and entry code, with no flexibility or consideration for travel planning. Overall, the lack of communication and transparency took away from the experience. I would recommend future guests clarify these details before booking if having advance information is important to you."

"The rooms were neat and clean. Large comfy sofa in the living room. The heater in the bedroom really kept the room warm. We were there in April and it was cool at the time. Nice big TV with Roku. The property is within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great views around the property, lots of trees and the mountains, gorgeous."

"We had a positive stay and found the Silver Pines Lodge to be a welcoming and charming place. It was fun to visit the main lodge space with an old piano, resources for travelers, and a fireplace. Some improvements we'd suggest in our room would be blackout curtains, bathroom counter space for toiletries, and better lighting for doing makeup. The bed was fairly comfortable but needed more substantial pillows. We loved the cozy fireplace heater and the charming decor! We also appreciated charging stations by both bedsides -- something we've found lacking in many hotel rooms. The wi-fi worked great, and it was a pretty quiet, peaceful and clean room. The location was close to everything! I think for the price, it was a good value and more unique than a standard hotel."

"This home has many issues that made it undesirable to stay. When I addressed this with the property managers, they failed to communicate. It took them a week to respond after my many phone calls and messages. Listing for others consideration prior to booking:1) the cleaning supply (Lysol?)smells was so strong that it made you choke the second the door is open. Even after an entire day of airing out the place, it was still too strong to stay inside.2) the front door is difficult to get the deadbolt to lock, you have to lift up the door and wiggle the locks to get it to secure. 3) the house is difficult to find, no adequate outside lighting, no lighted display of the address of the property. 4) the after hours check in provided little to no directions of how to retrieve the keys from the lock box. 5) there not adequately lighting at the lock boxes to be able to find the pad lock dial numbers.6) the upstairs bedrooms are HOT, like 10-15 degrees hotter than downstairs. 7) the stairs are carpeted and VERY steep, which makes it difficult to get your luggage upstairs8) the hot tub is unusable. There’s no step to get into the hot tub and the condition inside the hot tub was unsanitary.After all these issues, which were addressed immediately, management took a week to respond. Think twice before booking this property!"
