Extended Stay America San Joaquin Valley hotels

"Friendly staff, clean room, pet friendly. Appreciated the game room and communal kitchen. Feels like an old school motel thatvhas received a trendy face lift - we appreciated the update though it still has some cheap motel bones that are hard to just paper over. Shower / bathroom were pretty basic, extremely low shower water pressure. Screen door to patio had holes and patio overlooked the pet relief area. They're on the right track though and location was very convenient for beating the holiday weekend crowds up to Sequoia National Park. Daughter was disappointed the hotel map mentioned an evening fire pit but we didn't see one."

"Customer service is poor and rude. Towels have hair, hate it. My first stay was great, that’s I why I booked it again. The second one was frustrating."

"This property is old and needs updating. It has bare minimum furnishings. No Refrigerator, No collapsible or rigid luggage rack, 3 towels for 2 adults for 2 nights, dirty, bathroom floor, dirty windows, bare minimal if non existing any longer the feeling of "Welcome". This was the nicest HI at one time. Now? not so much. And the addition of the 7/11 style store in the lobby with overpriced junk food made our stay more like a cheap motel. There are a lot of less expensive hotels close by that are new and welcoming... No longer worth the effort, hassle and/or expense. The Loyalty to the Holiday Inn system has gone away after this weekend."
