"This property is old and needs updating. It has bare minimum furnishings. No Refrigerator, No collapsible or rigid luggage rack, 3 towels for 2 adults for 2 nights, dirty, bathroom floor, dirty windows, bare minimal if non existing any longer the feeling of "Welcome".
This was the nicest HI at one time. Now? not so much. And the addition of the 7/11 style store in the lobby with overpriced junk food made our stay more like a cheap motel.
There are a lot of less expensive hotels close by that are new and welcoming...
No longer worth the effort, hassle and/or expense.
The Loyalty to the Holiday Inn system has gone away after this weekend."
