Enjoy this newly remodeled, upgraded retreat with all the advantages of a resort yet the ability to make yourself feel at home. This is a spacious ocean front one bedroom, large bath with two sinks, wide deck with outside sofa, chairs, dining table and a new Weber grill, comfortable modern kitchen, desk with ocean views, living room and full size washer/dryer suite. You can gaze into the ocean waves and sky from lying in your comfortable kingsize bed and both the bedroom and living room open up to a large balcony that overlooks the sea of Cortez. The TV system features over 1000 channels from around the world and there is a triple filtration water system in the kitchen and ice cube maker will give you peace of mind about drinking the delicious water.
A small boutique hotel is also located on the grounds so you can take advantage of their three delicious restaurants, spa, pickle ball and tennis courts, as well as 9 pristine pools with a swim up bar and a bar within the hotel.
You will feel comfortable, safe and well taken care of within the compound of Casa Del Mar's excellent staff.
The facility is located on a very low density section of the beach where the buildings are low and spread out and there are not many beach vendors. It is a very quiet beach compared to Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo proper (no rock and roll music and not many beach vendors). About half the year the beach is swimmable and the other half of the year you can walk 10 minutes down the beach to where there is a safe cove to swim year round. Every November through March you can see the great whales playing from your balcony most of the day. Fantastic snorkeling is only 5 miles in either direction of the resort in Chileno Bay or Palmilla Beach.
Beach chairs/towels and fins are provided for snorkeling or hanging out on the beach. Horse rides are common to view from the deck and easy to purchase.
Your comfortable, romantic get away is located half way between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo and this location couldn't be any better. It's easy to grab an Uber, taxi or bus from the resort into either town if you ever want to leave this quiet oasis.
