“Hotel was unique- very cool. Pool area great, breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful. It would have been nice to have a communal fridge on first floor and an ice machine (or access to ice).”

“We were disappointed when asked to pay for a face towel with a small food stain. The staff insisted on payment despite our decline. Furthermore, the air conditioning was not cooling adequately, the food lacked flavor, and the staff's service was unhelpful.”

“Right at the check-in, I was told there's no reservation under my name so I had to pay again (will have to dispute double payment), no air conditioner, moldy room, bathroom not so clean with no towel racks, smelly bed linen, pillow case with blood stain, noise road by the room, no lobby area or common kitchen facilities--it doesn't look like the pictures show. Location was okay and the staff (Joaquim) was very friendly.”

“Expectations and assumptions are the reason for my ratings. I thought I was going to have a different experience while that experience was not met. Based on my assumptions my stay there was pleasant and there were some adjustments I had to make once I realized what the accommodations provided the staff was friendly. I felt safe would I stay there again possibly if I’m traveling alone yes but with a companion, I would probably stay somewhere that is more a traditional hotel. This review is not……

“Our stay at this beautiful resort started well before our stay. Cindy reached out to confirm our time of arrival, provide directions and caution us on the local roads due to a rain storm that had just passed through. If that wasn’t enough, Cindy then messaged us back to confirm our lodging, advised us how to access the resort and get our selection for the next morning’s breakfast. All this occurred during our drive from Liberia to the Serenity Eco Lodge. Way above and beyond. Our accommodation……
