Very central restaurants, shopping, the beach, transportation. Hotel itself is not fancy but practical. Staff very friendly.

First when I arrived at the property no one answer there'll at the gate. I called a number that was printed on a piece of paper taped to the gate, and wast told that I need to walk 2 blocks to a different property. I told the person that I had just to an Uber to the property that I reserved because I had 4 pieces of luggage. Hi simply said take a taxi or wait and they will pick me up. Finally someone arrived on foot to takes to the other place, so we had to walk 2 blocks with all of our luggage. BTW, there was never an apology offered. When we got to the place we were told that we were getting an upgrade. The worst upgrade that we have received, a dirty room, smelly, in front of a kitchen and a very dirty bathroom. Do not recommend Casa del Caribe nor Canario Boutique Hotel. Cero disregard for their guests.

Staff was excellent. Room pretty small, but clean. TV never worked properly. Bathroom super small. No elevators. Staff Eddie very informative/helpful/excellent personality as well as other staff members. Update of facilities definitely needed. Otherwise, would stay again..

They should implement a better power outage back up plan … great people and staff but the owners should think about getting a better system . Not cool to get dress in the in the middles of heat and dark with a stream of cold water for a shower 😓

the tv didnt work and the manager stated he would come take a look but never did, the shower dripped water so i couldnt take a shower before my flight, the sink didnt drain, there was no one available to help carry luggage up several flights of stairs. i would not recommend this hotel. the family owns 4 more in the area so be careful

It was a cleanly and safe atmosphere. The hotel itself was different as we removed to a hotel just up the road. The room had a bit of an odd layout, but it served its purpose!

The property was closed for renovations. I called earlier that week. No one had let me know so then when we got dropped off and it was closed, we had to walk around the corner to a sister property.. the sister property had a very nice staff, but not the room that we were looking for.

The place is a family style hotel. Eddy at the front desk is great and very welcoming. He is always eager and willing to answer any questions you may have. It is located in a great and very accessible area. This hotel is very old school and is a good place to just put your head down and shower since it is very small. Although we were given one of the biggest rooms it wasn’t as spacious for two people so keep that in mind when booking. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here.
