This beach private complex has 24 hrs security and is known for one of the finest in the island.Has a River Pool, water park w/Slide; Heated infinity Pool , 3 jacuzzi and 6 others Pools . Private ClubHouse, with Plasma TV's and wirelees internet access. Two playground Area, Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts. Private Beach, Beach Volleyball Court, Beach Front BBQ Grills, mini Golf, 25 min from airport and 30min from Old San Juan. We offer a beautiful second floor apt with balcony overlooking River Pool area, with air conditioning, master bedroom with private bathroom and 42 inch flat screen TV, cable tv, washer and dryer combo, 2 parking, beautifully decorated and equipped with all appliances, bar with stools on balcony. Like many of the previous reviews, we found the condo needing major updates - peeling paint, drawer front broken, broken door handle, etc. The oven did not work and the sliding doors were difficult. The condo was functional but not exceptional.Not a lot of communication. We had no closing instructions so we did what we normally do on rentals.The dogs were no big deal - they were actually friendly.We didn't have any problem with the neighborhood and never felt uncomfortable. It was kind of cool traveling west through the neighborhoods and smelling all of the roasting food.The grounds were well kept and the pools were nice. No floating devices for the "lazy river".

The property was really nice. The pools and access to the beach were great. Perfect beach area to read, swim, sun bathe, relax. Nice gated property. I bit sketchy outside of the property. The unit itself was clean, but needed some updating. Good amount of space for our family of five. The owner, and property manager were very helpful and communicated in a very timely manner, really appreciated that. The one downside was the pack of dogs roaming the property. A bit intimidating at times.

Stay at AQuatica

The apartment dwelling was extremely well maintained for a property that was built over 20 years ago (freshly painted with all major appliances with the exception of a dishwasher.). There are no elevators so if you have a handicapped person in the group ( that was me!!) going up and down one flight of stairs becomes a bit inconvenient (fortunately I did only once a day).Security and access at the facility ensuring overall safety is extremely well maintained .The apartment also has a fairly good Wi-Fi system; excellent A/C in all three bedrooms plus the kitchen/living areas. Only had two power system outages of short duration (power provided by LUMA has been spotty since Hurricane Maria); eating/cooking utensils available. Bathrooms worked very well but do not have safety bars so be prepared for that.Easy and convenient access to eastern Puerto Rico turist attractions like El Yunque National Rain Forest, Luquillo Beach, great golf courses and restaurants as well as heading west to Old San Juan, Isla Verde Beach, Piñones, SJU International Airport are also reachable within short time by toll expressways!!Facility has 5 pools and access to Atlantic Ocean Beach (well controlled by security).

Convienient Location

Clean, spacious and convenient. 20-30 min away from SJ airport, 20-30 min away from El Yunque National Forest. Short drive to Ceiba to catch a water taxi to a beautiful Island. Lovely place to stay on the beach!

Second leg of Our 2024 vacation

The property is very outdated. Cooking tools were old and not cleaned well. Some upgrades are needed. No dishwasher. Who wants to be on vacation and wash dishes all the time. The beach chairs and tubes for the pool were broken. The place smelled very musty. I will say one positive thing is the private beautiful beach. I didn't like how far away from San Juan, isla Verde and restaurants it was. Very inconvenient.

Great property

If you plan on exploring Puerto Rico I highly recommend renting a car. The pools were beautiful as was the beach! The kids loved the water slide on saturdays!

Good overall

There was some conflicting information in the listing, but the unit was nice and met our needs. Anyone visiting Puerto Rico needs to know that power outages are common and may affect water supply as well. There were at least 3 outages while we stayed there and the first one was long and affected the water supply. That's a P.R. issue though, not an issue with the unit, and the owner communicated with me well during the first outage. The other 2 outages happened when we were at the pool or off property and I only noticed because the clocks were reset. I assume they were short. The only real issue with the property was the pools/water slide. Anyone staying here should know that the water slide is only open on weekends (we only saw it open for a few hours on Sunday actually) and the same goes for the other "waterpark" features. The property was mainly just a nice home base while we explored the island, but I feel we would've been better off at a cheaper unit with a regular pool since the "waterpark" features were barely on during our stay.

Beautiful property. Definitely need a car as nothing is near by. The diner around the corner is only open friday to sunday. The small eatery inside the property is only open thursday to sunday. Aside from that. It is a beautiful stay. If you have a car Definitely stay here

Lovely apartment

Carlos was a great host, with easy communication throughout our stay. The apartment complex is really nice, with a quiet and pretty beach at the end and a variety of pools to choose from. There’s very little to walk to from the complex, so driving is necessary to get anywhere including places to eat most of the time, but that was fine. Lots of good restaurants are an easy 15-20 minute drive away. Thanks, Carlos!

Family Vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were perfect for us, it was quiet and family friendly, and the balcony was great for relaxing on to eat ice cream or watch the kids in the pool. It was clean and we had the linens and kitchen things we needed. My kids loved the pools, but it would have been nice if more of the water cannons were maintained since the ones near our location didn't work and we had to move to a different pool to find some that functioned.

Family getaway

Loved that we had all the extras, like beach chairs and towels. More then enough in the kitchen to cook a nice breakfast or lunch before we explored for the day. Felt very safe with the security.

Property was nice, grounds were kept up well. Mini golf course was horrible! Needs complete redo. Lots of pools and playgrounds but desperately need about 100 more lounge chairs!!! Security was very tight which was good. It was quiet. Carlos was very quick to fix our issues like mold in the apartment. Wicker furniture not terribly comfortable but beds were.

Family vacation in Paradise

We had a lovely time in Puerto Rico. The condo was very comfortable and the resort amenities were great. Carlos was a fine host and answered out questions quickly. His restaurant recommendations were a big help. We loved all the pools and would come again. It was perfect for a family.

Great Bang For The Buck

Our host was very good at responding most of the time and when we had needs he met them most of the time. The condo was very clean and cared for. There were a few things that showed their age and were a bit tired. But overall it met the needs of our family of 6. The only thing that stood out as a negative was that the air conditioner in the master bedroom was not blowing out cold air, only cool. So, the sleeping was not optimal. But I did ask for a fan and our host had one delivered to the condo and next day and that helped. If the air condition is fixed we would definately stay there again. :)

Very nice resort

We really enjoyed the resort and location. Nice grounds, pools, and beach. The condo was very nice with extra amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas, pool float tubes. The owner was quick to respond to questions. Only down side was the cleanliness of the kitchen and appliances.

Great spot for 40’s + girls trip

All of the living arrangements were perfect. Beds, perfectly situated and wide open Spaces, we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other at all.. even the bunkbeds had vast space. Kitchen and living room made for perfect social time for the nine of us girls We rode our bikes to the beach, instead of taking the tram, I think one gal did take it because she had so much stuff she didn’t want to ride on her bike. It’s wonderful to have the option. The air conditioning did break in the upstairs one afternoon. They came with fans, and scheduled a visit from the air-conditioning company the next day. The evening was hot, but the fact that they took care of it by bringing fans did ease the pain. It was 90+ degrees outside and all the bedrooms except one are upstairs…. So it was a hot night. We had a wonderful time- the house is perfect to ride bikes to Rosemerry and , Alys … which we did multiple times a day. The house is beautiful too. If it would have rained, we would have been content staying at the house. This group of friends goes to this area every year for the past 10 years, while prices have soared in the area, this was still within the budget for a girls weekend - so we got to enjoy all the beauty we have gotten used to with our yearly visit
