“The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok……

“The stay was good. Walking the property, I really wanted to give a few ideas for improvement. The yoga area was pretty but needed a good re-fresh. There's no way anyone would want to do yoga there, in the condition that it was in. Needs a good power washing and re-staining of the deck, and the pond was full of leaves - could use a good cleaning and maybe some koi. The view from the room was incredible. The dog on the property was friendly and fun, but did bark at night. The owner was……

“We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening .”

Bernice is a fabulous person and she runs this resort with great care and attention, while also respecting people’s quiet and solitude. “We lived this quirky Mtn hotel. A collection of various cabins, containers, tents, grand old trees, beautiful gardens in a farm setting complete with donkey! Beautiful views across the mountains. Loved the local community vibe as well. Breakfast was very tasty in a lovely setting. The only negatives were beds are very firm, be prepared and the room had a huge tub, but not enough hot water to even fill it 1/4 full. Still, would stay here again for the idyllic setting.
