Great Assistance

Delightful condo overlooking the water

We stayed in the Belizean Reef in Ambergris Caye in San Pedro and had a wonderful time.The communication and check in process was the best of all of our travels. Kaitlyn saw us arrive and walked us to our room when we got there to be sure everything was good. She gave us tips and recommendations of things to do, where to eat etc. We we very thankful to be able to message her on Whatsapp whenever we had questions. The condo was in a great location close to everything. It was clean and well supplied. The only thing missing was a pool but that really wasn't a problem because so many of the restaurants had a pool we could enjoy while we were eating there. This was a great little find at an affordable price. It was a wonderful trip. We definitely recommend Belizean Reef.

Belizean Reef 2 week vacation

Perfect location with exceptional view. Had a great relationship with Yvette, house manager and Eramita, housekeeper. Interior was spacious and homey. Only negative would be the main roads which were riddled with potholes and speed bumps. Expenses were reasonable, restaurant food was delicious, everything was within reach. We would return.

Perfect location, beautiful condo

We stayed here for 9 nights the first week in November. It is in a perfect location in San Pedro. Close to everything. We walked everywhere. The owners Bill and Connie are really nice and helpful. They gave us lots of tips on places to go but the real gem of the property is the property manager, Yvette. She picked us up at the water taxi, showed us around, answered all our questions and gave us great advice on things to do. The condo was beautiful and spacious. King bed in the bedroom, large bathroom with shower and a large living room with full kitchen. The balcony facing the ocean is beautiful and Quianna, the housekeeper will clean up as much or as little as you like. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Nice view. Overall though just OK. Ants everywhere so we didn't cook (had had to eat meals out). Linens could use an upgrade- top sheet on the king bed was a queen sheet (one set had a big hole in it), also the kinda dingy towels. A drying rack or or hooks on the porch would have been nice for wet scuba/snorkel gear. TV cable has old technology and has to be rebooted often. Although a nice spacious apartment, seems updates are needed.

not so great- beware of icky seagrass problem

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: IN addition to the letter below- the seagrass on the beach made it impossible to get in the water and it SMELLED like a sewer.The owners did refund one night- however- here is the letter I sent:1. As a business owner myself, I would want to know the condition of my business. Therefore, the below will hopefully improve your business.2. With condition of the condominium and the other items I will outline, I would like you to refund 50% of our charges.We left 2 days early because of the condition of the condominium and complaining would not fix the situation.Upon our arrival Yvette meet us at the ferry and took us to the condominium. There was:• No icetrays- she did have her son get some ice for us- which was nice.• The next day we had to ask for more kitchen towels as there was only one- we also had to ask for paper towels.• Then we noticed there was no soap in the bathroom- had to ask for that.• The TV in the bedroom was out for 4 days- the TV in the living room was out for 2 days (Yvette said they were working the morning we checked in)- my husband is pretty tech savvy. Based on the condition of what was needed to make them work, He could see it would be impossible for them to be working that morning • The air-conditioning is misrepresented on your site- as it is only in the bedroom.Below are pictures:1. Two pillows in the living room were stained and dirty-YUCK2. Light next to chair was broken and unsafe- the cord was unplugged and poorly wrapped with tape-which is dangerous.3. All The chairs outside feel like they were sprayed with cement, and it is now chipping and in rough condition-uncomfortable to sit on.4. Note the picture with the Towel on the bathroom floor- The mat and towel were totally soaked as the toilet had a leaked and the floor beside the toilet was dirty.I hope this help you- however we were certainly disappointed and I think

Nice tucked away spot on beach

Unit was clean and the ice cold rum drink waiting in the freezer was a nice surprise. Fresh towels/ housekeeping upon request every day. Yvette Made excellent recommendations for local restaurants and they were all 10/10. My partner and I stayed in unit 3A which I would not recommend to anyone else that is reliant upon air conditioning for comfort. There is one air condition in the bedroom that cools minimally and the rest of the unit has no air-conditioning. Needless to say, it was somewhat uncomfortable. With that being said, if air-conditioning isn’t something that you require then I would absolutely recommend staying in that unit. Bottom line is… We will be back

Loved Belizean Reef Suites!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first time not staying at a hotel and I absolutely loved everything about staying at the Belizean Reef Suites! My suite was a very clean, spacious one bedroom unit with a very open floor plan and no wasted space. The ocean views were phenomenal and the spacious balcony was my favorite place to sit in the mornings, drink my coffee and take it all in.I chose this vacation rental because I was traveling alone and as a single woman, safety was key. I got the impression from the reviews that this place was very homey and that the property management, Yvette, took excellent care of her guests - which is so so true! She met me at the airport and also dropped me off, and gave me the best recommendations in terms of must do and must see things during my stay. The house keeper was also very lovely and helpful. Simon who helped me with questions before I got there, was amazing! The location couldn’t have been more perfect...walking distance to everything you could possibly need. Also, I’d like to say that the app they gave me access to was incredible because it had all the information I needed to plan my trip (requirements to enter and leave Belize, what to pack, activities, weather, forms I had to fill etc.)...so so helpful:)I would definitely stay there again. And one other highlight is that there is this this amazing ice cream place that is a one minute walk and deserves to be mentioned in the location perks!!!Thank you for my amazing stay!

Warm, Friendly and Informative.

From the moment Yvette picked us up from the Tropic Air terminal our vacation was full of very pleasant surprises. Bill & Connee have created lovely accommodations which are well maintained (Daily housekeeping) and right on the ocean for fresh breezes and natural sounds. The location is superb for walking throughout downtown San Pedro with shops, restaurants, delis and adventure tour operators. Yvette, Bill and Connee are knowledgeable references for Caye activities, customs, eating, drinking and fun times. We just had happy experiences at Belezean Reef Suites.

Great experience in San Pedro!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in San Pedro. This condo rental was all as promised , Bill and Connee and their on-site staff were wonderful to deal with. They went out of their way to make our stay of 25 days one of our best experiences ever! From pick-up at the airport to drop-off again, they were always there to answer questions, share local knowledge and even adjust housekeeping services to fit our schedule. We would definitely recommend this rental and do it again!

Great place to stay for a couple

We stayed in the efficiency for a few days over New Years and we both agree we'll definitely be back! The Belizean Reef will be the first place we search for availability the next time we come to San Pedro. You can't beat the price or the location. You're very close to the airport, and also right on the beach. The rooms are well appointed and for a pretty small fee, you can have your laundry washed and folded by the very friendly staff. Bill and Connie were fun to hang out with and had good advice on where to go and what to see. Yvette was a fantastic point of contact and very helpful (and patient) with our arrival and departure. We would have used her more if we didn't have a Belizean with us 🙂 Thank you all for a really great experience!! See you next time! Amy and Dan

Spacious condo in town with ocean view!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Bill and Connee's condo. The condo is spacious, well-kept, and has a wonderful ocean view, with a great breeze, comfortable furniture, a nice full kitchen, bedroom and TV. A/C is available in the Bedroom if you want it. Bill was often nearby if we had questions, and Yvette the property manager was exceptional and went out of her way to answer questions and help. There is fresh bottled water ready for you there, and laundry can be done for you any day for a small fee. The wifi was confusing at first, but we figured it out. It works fine in one part of the apt, near the TV, and not well in the rest of the apt, so we left our phones to charge there most of the time, and stood there to do our wifi things, with good results. The TV also worked fine after we learned how to use it. Water pressure in the shower is not strong but was plenty for us and allowed nice long showers. We liked the location, as it is right at the south edge of town, near some wonderful restaurants and services, but it might not be for everyone, as it is right across from the airport, so it gets noisy after 7am when the airplanes start. But we found ourselves going to bed by 11 and getting plenty of rest so we were always ready to get up by 7am. We never needed a golf cart, walked everywhere we wanted in town, until one day when we wanted to leave town and explore. We see how 4 could stay here, but 6 looks too crowded to us. It was lovely for the 2 of us! Overall, we are very pleased and thankful, and would stay there again.

As advertised, with a caveat

This property was fantastic. Great owners, property manager, and housekeeper. Clean (spotless) studio condo. Fully-equipped kitchen. Great air conditioning. Location is 1000-feet from the Tropic Air baggage claim and 750-feet from the Tropic Air check-in. (Although Yvette - property manager - picked me up and dropped me off because I had 4 pieces of luggage.) There is also a golf cart rental vendor next door. With regards to overall location, it is on the southern edge of San Pedro, on the Caribbean Sea (east side). I could walk at a leisurely pace to the bridge at the north of San Pedro in about 15 minutes. Overall a great location. When I write, 'with a caveat', this is the only unit in the building without a beach/sea view. (I made an assumption, based on VRBO filters, that this condo itself was beachfront. The building itself is beachfront.) Because I really wanted the view, I inquired with the owner as to options and a beachfront unit was available to me at a reasonable cost for the remainder of the stay.. That unit was just as nice as this one. The only negative is that the property does not have any shaded seafront spots for this particular unit. (The unit I moved to had a large shaded balcony.)

This property is exactly as it is portrayed on VRBO. The manager is the sweetest and most helpful. Wonderful views, located close to everything and we had no problem with air noise. Would definately rent this condo again!
