My only complaint was the smoke detector in the room woke us ip at 4 am and there was no fire the battery was dead the next night the room next to us alarm went off for hours before they came to stop only after I called. The staff was wonderful and friendly about taking care of the concerns. Yes I would recommend the resort just have them check your smoke detector lol”

“The sargassum is terrible. It is so bad that no one can enjoy the beach or any relaxation spot on the beach. The smell is very strong due to so much sargassum. The staff super nice and friendly.”

“We stayed in a studio room and were impressed with its size, decor, and cleanliness. Although we did not have the view of the pools and ocean, we had a view of the bay. We hosted a 60th birthday celebration and the staff was able to bring our idea to fruition. Thanks Melissa and Christie. This was my second time staying here and I would stay there again. Food at Rain Restaurant was very good.”

“Apart from the make up towels causing stains in the white towels this hotel is amazing. You really can’t pay for better views. The north side is quiet and relaxing. The hotel boat makes it so easy to access the other side where most attractions are and it’s free for hotel guests! The staff are kind and helpful! “We recently stayed at X’tan Ha and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their hospitality was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The rooms were clean, although they are somewhat dated and could use some updating. We also had a few visits from ants and termites in our room during our stay. The food was mediocre—not bad, but not particularly memorable.
