Poor Management and Major Cleanliness Issues We booked at Sabas but were redirected to Coco Blue Beach Resort upon arrival. Although it was presented as an upgrade, the hotel was completely unprepared. There was no front desk and no management system in place. We waited over an hour for our rooms; despite having a confirmed booking for two, they were overbooked and had to convert a storage room into a guest room for us. The hygiene standards were very poor. Both rooms were extremely dusty and had not been properly cleaned. Most concerningly, one of the rooms had been soiled by a pet. Since there was no housekeeping staff available, I had to clean the area myself using my own supplies. The service was equally disappointing. During dinner, the staff refused to split the bill between our two rooms. When we attempted to resolve the payment issue, the owner’s wife was highly unprofessional. She was confrontational and made offensive, generalized comments toward our group rather than trying to find a solution. While the physical property is new, the lack of staff, poor sanitation, and disrespectful treatment of guests made this a very negative stay. This resort needs professional management and a basic standard of hospitality before it can be recommended.

Very disappointed with my stay here. They put us in a room knowing the ac didnt work and told me they knew it didnt work. after unpacking everything, we had to pack again and move to a smaller room. Then move again. Very inconvenient and not relaxing. Breakfast is included but they didnt tell us they charge for stuff like milk with your coffee, while i dont mind paying but tell me before hand. Also left my wallet in my room and said i would be back to pay but the guy came banging on my door like if i was trying to steal even though we are staying here and had a couple days left. Just dealt with things you shouldnt deal with on vacation. Things like the shower clogging and the balcony door didnt bother me but the other things did. Would not stay again nor do i recommend .

I thought this was a great hotel and it was a very big spacious room with a very decent and very clean bathroom. With a stand-up shower and really hot water. It had an ocean view which was pretty amazing because you wake up the waves of the ocean. It’s a little bit after the main road, but it’s right on the beach so you can leave your room and be on the sand within two or three minutes of walking. Oh yeah, the air conditioning was really good and really strong. I checked in around 9 or 10 PM in the middle of a major storm and they had staff that was ready and waiting.

This property is advertised as a “resort” which is not. We arrived by 8 pm and our room was not ready. Internet did not work the first day, and the next day was on and off. Cable channels are very limited. An old and dirty mop was given as feet towel for the shower. The bathroom sink faucet was wobly. The promised “Mountain View”did not happen. We were very disappointed.
