Loud and basic
There are improvements being carried out, which will make a difference in the future.
We were unable to get the advertised wifi at all, despite the router being reset many times. This was annoying.
On four occasions we had random people enter our room without knocking, which was not okay. Once guy even got cross with us and said we should have locked the door.
I had to clean the bathroom before use and despite being given a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarettes was present I. The duvet, towels and there was cigarette ash all over the top of the toilet seat. Cigarette burns were present on the furniture.
A local mosque is across the road and while we enjoy hearing the call to prayer, it was not so great to hear each session broadcast over mega-speakers outside. Every mic drop/exchange, everything and with single-glazed windows, we didn't get much sleep.
Close to amenities though and staff are nice.
