My overall perception was WOW!! Large kitchen, large table so all 10 fit, enough room that we weren't tripping over each other, enough bedrooms to accommodate everyone., washer & dryer. Everyone said next year - kids and adults both

The cottage is very large and easily accommodated our party of 7. Its was nice to have 2 washrooms and enough beds for everyone. The view was amazing and the grounds allowed for outdoor games. We enjoyed the fire pit as well. It would have been be nice to have a safe way to get to the beach like stairs or a ramp. One member of our party wasn't able to get to the water because of mobility issues. It would also have been nice to know in advance that the water wasn't ideal for swimming because of the large rocks hidden under the surface. I would suggest an info binder available for guests providing info on the cottage and its surroundings. For example, what to do when checking out ,who provides toilet paper and water when we run out, how to work the tv, etc. This would prevent having to contact the manager on our stay. We found it to be a great place to say and might stay again but there are several things that would have to be tweaked in order to create a more comfortable space for guests.

Lovely location, cabin comfortable, yard is big enough for games, owner very pleasant and helpful. One note: the front page of listing says sheets, towels etc are included, but they aren't. That info is only way down at the bottom, and easily missed while booking, though the owner points it out after booking.

Great location and host

The property was clean and organized. Host was punctual and friendly. It was a bit tricky getting down to the water, but this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise outstanding stay at this property. Thanks Dan!

Enjoyed our stay

The cabin being close to the Sandy Hook golf course was very convenient. Was comfortable even with a big group of 14 people. Great morning view!

A family stay

This place is rustic it’s run down, no acs, fans don’t even work good, the bbq hose to the propane tank was already broken wiring was already ripping and rusted that bbq look like it was on its last days. The house smelt like a real ethic smell as if they had someone living there. We never smoked up in the house we smoked it outside. We are not paying that for a already broken bbq. we rent so much cabins this summer and never did we get bad reviews.

Lakefront Cottage

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, the house and property are well maintained and clean. There are lots of space outdoors to play with the kids, we were able to see the stars at night and wildlife is everywhere you look. Dan is a great host, very accommodating and great communication with his guests. We can't wait to visit again!

Very good.

The place is as described. Very big living area. lots of beds and sleeping space. Very nice view of the lake. 45mins walk to Winnipeg Beach. 15mins drive to Gimli Beach. Host is very accommodating and friendly. He made sure our stay was as good as it got. Very good communication. Will definitely book this place again next season.

March Fishing trip!

This property was perfect for out group! We came up for a ice fishing trip and there was plenty of space in a great location! We will be back!

Decent place

The house was fine. The kitchen was dirtier then we would have liked to see and there was random stuff all over the house. We would stay there again though. All in all it was a nice stay

Family gathering

Dan was a great host. Lots of room. We wish the access to the lake was easier, there are a lot of big rocks to navigate to get to the water and if the lake is rough it makes it very challenging. Unfortunately the wifi and tv weren’t working so there were a few disappointed bomber fans. Overall we enjoyed our time.

Lakefront cottage

This was a great cottage for two families to vacation together. There was plenty of room inside and a beautiful yard for lots of activities. We spent a lot of time watching the waves come in on windy days. Close to both Winnipeg beach and Gimli if you want to take the kids to a bigger beach. Owners were super friendly and accommodating.

Nice, Relaxing Stay!

Our family had a nice, relaxing stay at this cabin, lots of room for everyone. Loved having the master bedroom and a 2nd living room on the other side of the house for extra privacy if needed. Would have loved to have better water access off the cabin, almost impossible to maneuver the very large rocks and swim, kayak/canoe, etc. but otherwise a great stay!

Spacious but needs Attention

This property has an amazing view, but the yard needs attention. We had to pick up garbage. There are old fans, chairs, tubs, and other items thrown into piles throughout the yard. The cottage was clean, but needs attention. We had no cupboards to store our food because there was food that belonged to other people in there. The fridge still had some food, as well as the fridge freezer, which we removed and put into a small floor freezer that had other things in it. Very spacious, but felt a little over sold for the price.

Beautiful lake views, large lot, large cottage. Property manager was very accommodating and did everything to make it a good visit. Had a fun week!

Amazing view to wake up to at sandy hook

Lots of space, beaches to walk or drive to and most amazing floor to ceiling wall of windows looking out at lake. Very quiet as neighbors were away. Kitchen well equipped
