Sanibel Siesta on the Beach, Unit 209. Luxurious Gulf view! You will enjoy your time on Sanibel Island in this gorgeous third-floor unit that has been recently updated with a completely renovated kitchen, including granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances....everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. Lovely living room furniture has been updated. Sit back and relax on the new comfy couches with a queen-size sleeper sofa. The large screened lanai runs the length of the living/dining room and offers a spectacular view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. This spacious 2 bed/2 bath non-smoking unit features all the comforts of home. The master suite has a king bed and access to a smaller private lanai. The guest room has twin beds but can be made into a king upon request. Other amenities include ceiling fans throughout, central air, 3 satellite flat-screen TVs, linens, and a starter pack of soaps, paper products and coffee. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are provided for your enjoyment. Beach towels are available for rent or purchase from our on-site office. Sanibel Siesta offers tennis courts, heated swimming pool, WiFi, bike rentals, shuffleboard, gas grills, laundry facilities and elevators? all in a lush tropical setting with amazing sunsets! And remember, it's just a short walk to the beach and pool. Reservation pricing is based on a party of 4. A $30 daily fee will apply for any 5th or 6th person, a 1-time extra linen charge of $35.00 will apply. Max occupancy is 6 including children and infants. NO PETS. Click on VIDEO LINK for tour.

The condo was lovely and nicely appointed. There is a lot of room if travelling with family. Check in was seamless and we were a little early and got in early. The only minus was there were no umbrellas at the pool and it was very hot.

The unit was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped, with a nice view of the pool, the lagoon, and, past them both, the Gulf. We loved our stay and were very happy to be back on Sanibel.

Not worth 25% of the price because it smelled like pee

Say no more? Oh, but I must. Little in the listing was accurate- nearly every room smelled of pee- human, animal, does it matter? Ironically, the bathrooms were fine. Except the shower didn’t drain. The wifi barely worked. The pillows in the main room smelled of old person’s head. Badly. The real coffee maker was hidden under the kitchen sink for some reason? No salt shakers because pandemic. But somehow the place didn’t need to be cleaned properly? I cannot understand how they charge close to $300 per night. Maybe it’s the view and proximity to the water. That’s the one redeeming feature.

Enjoyed the property and the view it met all of our needs and we really enjoyed our stay. Our only feedback was the fact that in our building you had to walk all the way around to get to the pool, office or the beach area would be great if there was a pass through in the stairwell areas

Great stay on Sanibel

We were here for 9 nights at the end of Feb. 2021. This is a great little 2 bedroom/2 bath condo with views of the ocean from the living/dining room and the screened in porch. 100 yds to the beach. The office staff were very friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

The property is in a great location, close to a lot of great restaurants and shopping, and has a great view of the ocean. The living room/dining/kitchen area is beautiful. We loved the huge lanai and wall of windows so you can see the ocean. I really did not like the layout of the master bedroom/bath, it was awkward in every way. The toilet/tub area was small and the door was located in the wrong place, it made the sink area too narrow and got in the way of the closet entrance. Plus if you needed to use the bathroom at night you would wake up your partner with the light since there was no door on the sink area. We ended up using the other bathroom at night to avoid this. Also, the patio off the master had another door that led out to the outside hallway and had an open screen above the door. We felt insecure about that area because if someone wanted to they could climb up and look directly into the bedroom and could push the screen in and gain access to break into the condo. It was a very strange layout. The property was nice but it was very noisy. We could hear the conversations of the people above us and everytime they moved a chair is was very loud since the floors where all tile. There was also a lot of outside noise from trucks and construction maybe, I don't know what it was, it was just loud. I also wish there was more communication with the owner or managers as to procedures for us checking in since we arrived on a Sunday when the office is normally closed. I did not know this and started to panic when we arrived because I got an answering machine when I called to check in and didn't know how we were going to get the keys to our condo. Luckily there was still someone in the office and we were able to check in and get our keys. We would have liked instructions on what to do with garbage/recycling prior to the final email about checking out since there was not a container for recycling and didn't know what to do with it or where to take the garbage.

Great place to stay!

Very clean unit. Lots of towels. View of the ocean. Ladies in the office were nice and helpful. Wish we had rented a car. Grocery store and restaurants too far to walk. We used Island Taxi and they were terrific!

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in grosszügiger Wohnung mit perfekter Ausstattung

Die Wohnung 209 ist sehr großzügig angelegt und top eingerichtet mit einer zum richtig Kochen ausgestatteten Küche. Der Service vor Ort ist ebenfalls super: als wir uns nach einer Kühlbox erkundigten, wurden uns innert weniger Minuten drei zur Auswahl gebracht. Die Fahrräder in der Anlage sind etwas mitgenommen, aber wir durften sie gratis benutzen aufgrund der low season. Die Lage des Condos ist ebenfalls super: in 3 Minuten ist man am Strand, alles andere auch in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto erreichbar. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen!
