"The property is beautifully located in a very tranquil hamlet. At the moment the house and garden are not being maintained adequately. During our stay we had no hot water for the first few days and the internet connection that was advertised was not available. The kitchen had not been properly cleaned and there was food in the cupboards that had gone out of date long before our arrival. "An absolutely fantastic stay in this beautiful property. The host and the property manager were both so accommodating and helpful. We felt very safe, including pool safety etc with 2 small children (18 months and 3.5 years). Brilliant outdoor space which was all used on a daily basis. The host also kindly gave us some brilliant recommendations for restaurants and cooking class which we are so glad we booked. Highly recommend booking this property, definitely on our list to come back to! "

"Federica and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts - great communication throughout the stay and always available. The house was immaculate and well presented. "We came to Italy to compete at the Dragonboat Club Crew World Championships. We are a big team so having such a beautiful large and spacious accommodation made our experience very memorable. We could relax after a long day of competition and find many private areas when we were looking for solitude. I strongly recommend this property to any sports team looking for accommodation. We even hired a private chef to come every other night. Made our liver very convenient while the food was delicious."

"On arrival the hostel looks run down, nothing like the photos, the parking area feels very unsafe. Then you have to walk through an abandoned night club to get to the lift. When I got to reception no one was there, rang the bell 3 times and waited nearly 30mins until the lady arrived to check me in. By this point I had been stood feeling very uncomfortable and decided to leave and not stay here. It did not feel safe at all. I've stayed in many hostels all over the world and never felt this uncomfortable. They also charge for linen which is not listed on expedia, or let people bring their own which is a breeding ground for bedbugs.... Once checking other sites for reviews I realised I had made a mistake. They also won't refund for any reason. Its clear the owner doesnt care about the presentation of the hostel, the atmosphere (zero atmosphere) or the customer service. Being the only hostel in San Marino people are left with limited choices. If solo travelling i wouldn't reccommend this hostel, if not alone then maybe it would be ok, but don't expect an atmosphere. If you have a car go elsewhere back to Italy, where you can get a hotel room for just a bit more, and a bit of a drive. "
