“Good location, clean space. The room is very small, “studio” alluded to at least a little living space but this is a small bedroom. There is only a few feet around the bed in the room. I called to request early checkin & was told they would text me hourly before 4 pm to let me know if the room was ready. They never let me know and then when we left the cleaners arrived before our 10 am check out. 2 codes required, one is 10 digits long. In my opinion a hotel of comparable cost would provide more……

“This is our second time to stay at this property. The location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes away is a little grocery store that has everything you need. And every evening a taco truck is parked there. The cottage is so cute, spotless and is well equipped. We love sitting on the front patio enjoying drinks and a meal. The street is so quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to end a busy day. We are already planning our next Santa Barbara get away at Costa Vida Cottage.”

“My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was as advertised, clean, tidy, comfy, and a stones throw from the beach. It’s close enough to downtown S.B. that getting into town is quick and there’s a couple good restaurants and little market nearby if you need anything. The neighborhood is a little noisy and the house is older so there were times our upstairs neighbors were very noticeable; for that reason I might not recommend for anyone who is really noise sensitive. “I highly recommend The 3 Dux! In the Papa suite, we spent each morning enjoying our gourmet coffee provided by the host (with a wide selection of creamers) on the balcony, watching the sun rise against the mountains. At night we loved the fire and being so close to restaurants and wine tasting. The location is perfect - close enough to take a run on the bike path along the beach and enjoy great people-watching on State Street, but then retire to a quiet oasis for the night. “My handicapped sister and I were visiting and requested confirmation regarding arrival. Telephone call sent 4 days before, unreturned. Email sent unreturned. Etc. On way to property, despite confirmation that reservation was confirmed, we were worried that VRBO cancelled our reservation without telling us. After several additional attempts to contact agent, only received information in regards to arrival 2 hours before check in. That was disappointing; also disappointing was that continued……

“This small 2-bedroom is a great, eclectic place to stay. Walking distance to much in downtown. The backyard has a great seating area with a fire pit. I would suggest you bring a small car as the driveway is very tight. But, overall, a great stay.”

“Wonderful apartment in an historic and artistic building in Santa Barbara. Very clean and tidy, with nice furnishings. We loved the place, as it was within easy walking distance of downtown, and was very quiet at night. 100% would return!”

“The location of this property was the main reason we chose it, nice and close to the beach. It was clean, but floors were unlevel, especially in the bedroom where the head of the bed seemed lower than the foot of the bed. And there was a 10 digit code to unlock/ lock the door to the room which was very cumbersome /bothersome every time we left and came back. Not sure we would stay here again as the cons probably outweighed the pros.”

“It is a beautiful casita. Very comfortable and romantic, charming, and cozy. The gardens around the property are just gorgeous. Beautiful pool. Very nice place to relax and slow down. Many nice places to visit within an hours drive or so. Easy to get to wine country. Dino and his wife are fantastic hosts.”

“Our family loves staying at this perfectly appointed property and have stayed here twice now with plans on returning . What is special about it is the spaciousness and nicely decorated rooms including very comfortable beds and linens . The kitchen is stocked with all one needs to barbecue in the shaded back yard on elegant patio furniture . It’s a 4 min walk to beautiful Butterfly Beach and 10 min walk to Montecito’s farmers market . When staying here you really feel like a local nestled in……
